Since it is in an airport, Peet’s is priced more. Chai Tea Latte: Good & I love the spices but it is a tad watered down with too much ice! Less is more Peet’s!

Never really been a fan of Peets and this morning was another reminder as to why. The chai tea latte is awful, just tastes like milk. Also the girl with the wild hair needs to do something with it and wash your hands when youve touched your hair.

It’s coffee people. Brew it, pour it, and move on. Hire happy, English-speaking people who understand the urgent needs of travelers. If we wanna sit around and have coffee in a relaxed and no –rushed environment, we won’t be at the airport.

Two sips of coffee and a big cup of ice for $ 5. Save your money and have the swill they serve on the plane.

I love Peet’s coffee and just like my favorite coffee stops in Seattle, Peet’s serves up probably the most richissimo tasting bold French roast in Cali. But this location at the Sandy Eggo airport needs to get better. I“m not going to tiptoe here… so Peet’s pleeez listen up: I’m going to take a star off for poor customer service. There is always a line here as there would be at Starbucks but staff can’t seem to keep up. There used to be a Starbucks where you are now but hands down, their service was far superior and quicker than Peet’s coffee staff. Last week I ordered a decaf and a regular coffee and your staff had trouble identifying which cup was decaf??? I will take another star off because your branch here does not brew the flavor that’s made you famous: French Roast. It’ s like McDonalds wanting to serve me KFC. I will take one more star off for the flimsy, cramped creamer and sugar stand. Twice now a customer next to me has dropped spilled his coffee because the 3″ wide ledge next to the stand is used to mix coffee. The stand is cramped only one person can really use it at any time and 2,3 sometimes 4 patrons are mixing their complex coffees there. Maybe I’m asking for too much Peets, but after sitting at a Starbucks in Japan for an hour, the Starbucks customer service and quality 5,000 miles away, are flawlessly consistent to the brand. Visits at San Diego Airport: 10+ Visits at Peets: Untold countless.

This Peet’s Coffee has replaced the Starbucks that used to be located here at Gates 11 – 18 of the SD International Airport in Terminal 1. I personally am more of a Starbucks fan versus Peet’s, but I’m just glad there’s still coffee. It definitely seems like more people are Starbucks fans just looking at the line now in comparison to before. Even with a small line though, it seems as though it isn’t as organized as it used to be since there used to be stanchions to guide a line so it would not block traffic coming into and out of the gates, but now customers can create a mess blocking walkways. The service is OK, nothing out of the ordinary. I do with they had more pastry options, there were a few coffee cakes, brownies, and muffins, but did not see any croissants, bagels, fruits, basically something with a little more substance for breakfast. There are sandwiches though.
