I bought a pristine 1994E320 from Sako at Sarkis Motors. They restored the bumpers with factory paint. The attention to detail was excellent. I have several older Mercedes and am picky about quality. The work done met my expectations.

A lack of character is the only way I can describe the owner of this body shop named Sarkis. I took my high end vehicle to this body shop from a trusted referral source, it was a total disappointment and more importantly a waste of my time. The job was simple, to repaint the front and rear bumper which Mr. Sarkis said confidently it was going to be a simple job that would only take him about a week. After meeting that deadline I was excited to see the finished product. To my surprise the results were a different car from the one I left! The Rear bumper was horribly out of alignment, the right tail light was caved in, there was a major gap between the bumper and the rest of the cars body along with a one inch slit on the inside top of the left rear wheel. Instead of trying to find a solution Sarkis response was«It was poorly design»(the vehicle that is). Maybe its my calm demeanor or the fact that I can drop $ 2,000 on a partial paint job without thinking twice that gave him the courage to hand me something of poor quality. After a few minutes of telling him my concerns I got no were at which time I drove my car to European Motor car works in Santa Ana. Amazing job they did! Jennifer is great and the entire staff are professional. I highly recommend this body shop to any Jaguar and Range Rover owners. I called Sarkis the following day explaining how European motors was able to align my bumper and make it look good as new. His response(not surprising) was«What do you want Ivan, what do you want» I told him simply refund the $ 200 European Motors charged me to do your job correctly and we can forget this whole thing ever happened. He responded ABSOLUTELYNOT! He said you didn’t give me a chance to make things right! You see, this is were he contradicts himself if he was serious about«making things right» wouldn’t he have made an effort to resolve the issue the first time I expressed my concerns? I then asked him what would he of done differently? His response is «I don’t know, I would of played around with it till I got it right»(I chuckle! ;) Its a 100K car son… Sarkis is a second generation owner and I finally see why a great percentage of second generation businesses go belly up. Sarkis reminds me of a spoiled child with no business sense or customer service skills with an I don’t care attitude. In all fairness he did offer me a FREE Car wash if I was ever in the area :) Please do yourself a favor and stay far, far away! There are plenty of reputable body shops out there. I dinged the window trim on my 2014BMW535i. I was referred to Sarkis by the people who do my detailing. Sarkis ordered me the OEM part and he had it in a day or 2. I swung in and he replaced it on the spot while I waited for 15 minutes. Great service, great people. Highly recommended!
