This place had some potential, especially being the only one in Utah that offers specialized KTV services. They replaced the old rundown buffet that was at their location awhile back. They have plenty of space here due to the former business being a buffet and they craved out a few rooms for KTVs. For those rooms, you have to reserve them in advance. The portions were huge when they first opened, but they had been gradually downsized, such as the fried catfish. Compared to the seafood in the bags, the fried stuff was not very fresh and they all had a strong odor with aging smell, which I guess it was a common thing to do for Chinese restaurants when people order fried food. The wings were probably best among all the fried dishes on the menu. I suppose stick with the steamed stuff if you want the fresh seafood. The king crabs and clams were probably the things to get here. Mussels were not too very messy, but their quality was not very good here. The shrimps and crawfish can be a little tricky unless you have superb de-shelling skill. They also do not devein the shrimps. Oysters did go well with alcohol and KTV though. KTV Crawfish & Bar brought a new concept to town, and that was it. Perhaps there will be more competitions in town soon, or they somehow improved? Until then, I will remain skeptic about this place.

It is now Ichiban Sushi & Asian grill ANDITISBETTERTHENEVER! Looking at the menu it was difficult ordering just one of their many beautiful creations. They were fast as well. The plating design was authentic. Ya’ll must come back and check them out! Alas the fish they had last time is gone, but with selection they have now. I won’t miss it.

Unless my wife and I are crazy, we went to this location last night, and it has been CLOSED. Parking lot is overgrown and sign on door says a sushi restaurant is coming soon. Bummer.

Went to this place recently and I have to say it’s not as good as Bucket O’Crawfish. Food is still good and service was outstanding. The owners were super attentive, and even gave us dessert for free. Prices were ok, but it’s true — for a few more bucks I’d rather make the drive to WVC and visit the other place. Would recommend if you’re in the area and want to get messy with your food, and don’t want to drive too far for some good seafood.

All I can say is ehhh. I guess my first time here wasn’t the best. I like the fact that everyone greeted me so nicely even though I was only in for take out. I ordered some crab legs and crawfish since I love crawfish Only to find it it wasn’t as juicy and the meat was terribly dry I don’t know if they gave me left overs or something it wasn’t as fresh. Sorry KTV not sure if I’ll come back I am still very skeptical.

Super fun! Came here for dinner and ended up staying for 4 hours! Dinner: Crab Muscles and Clams in garlic and butter– spicy level mild. This place is similar to the Boiling Crab in California, the seafood is placed in a bag with the sauce and steamed with corn. So delicious, but be prepared to get messy! I love the fun atmosphere that is provided here, and the staff is super super nice. After dinner we decided to go sing Karaōke and it was a blast. This place is so much better then the other Karaōke place downtown. The rooms are nicer, the sound is clearer and the song selection is up to date. Plus you can order food and drink in the Karaōke room! The host even brought us oranges when we were singing. The room we got(medium) was cheap too at $ 15 an hour. Honestly, this was a great experience and I cant wait to go back next weekend! They are also running a promotion right now Karaōke from 11am-7pm is only $ 10 per hour, per room. Kind of a fun way to break up the day and escape for happy hour or lunch!

Unique combination of mixing Boiling Crab /Bucket of Crawfish with private room Asian-style karaōke. Admittedly at first glance, mixing the two seems weird, but I do think KTV Crawfish and Bar fits a need since I don’t know of any other place that offers such style of karaōke. For our trip, we went for a late lunch on Sunday, and ordered a pound of shrimp, crawfish, clams, and mussels along with the fried catfish and cajun fries. There is an option to get live crab, crawfish, etc. For the sides, got sausages and a lot of corn. Shrimp and mussels were the favorite, but all in all, meal was pretty good. You simply can’t compare to any similar establishment on the west coast simply because of Utah’s location. Comparing to Bucket of Crawfish, I think the quality is pretty close, but the meal itself was a lot cheaper. Service was ok(its an Asian restaurant, what do you expect), and the restaurant itself was very spacious. I will definitely be going back and see how the karaōke is. I would recommend KTV Crawfish because I think it’s great value for seafood.

They were having a 50% off seafood deal so I was curious to try this place. When we walked in the place was pretty much empty but we were greeted by a friendly server. The pricing wasn’t too bad so we ordered a little bit of everything(the 50% off allowed us to try as much as we did). We ordered a pound of crawfish, snow crab, clams(all with the house special sauce and spicy level of spice), and got half a dozen of oysters. The clams were quite small but the oysters and crawfish were huge which was nice. The sauce was ok(a little too much like for my taste). We ended up ordering another pound of crawfish as well as 6 hot wings which were pretty good as well. All in all this place is pretty good. Would probably only continue to go if they keep the half off seafood.

I was really under-whelmed by this place. The food was ok, but the service was terrible. To start, they told us that they didnt have forks. What kind of restaurant doesnt have a fork? Ordered the gumbo and it was served in a Styrofoam container. I guess they wanted me to take my food togo?!? The one good thing was that it was nearly Chinese New Year, so all the seafood was half-off. That was about the only thing to commend. I sincerely doubt that I’ll give them another shot.

I came here for a second time CRAVING some snow crab legs and was disappointed. I don’t know if it was just an off day for me or the flavor absolutely killed my appetite. Whatever it was, made me not want to ever go back again. I didn’t even finish my food(which is very rare when it comes to snow crab legs) I thought I would try the other two flavors that weren’t the House Special. Pretty sure there was no difference in any of the flavors. All tasted like the House Special which was very disappointing for me. Value still good until the end of February. Service was good when I first arrived up until I put my order in, then it was all down hill from there. Waitress didn’t check back til she dropped off our check and our check took forever to get taken and charged. Might go back only to experience the karaōke… but other than that, Bucket O’ Crawfish is the place to go!

This place has a very nice environment. When stepped in you can hear a faint sound of chinese music in the background. The host was very friendly. there are also multiple rooms for karaōke. The food there was good, but the flavor is still missing a little kick. They have a special 50% off right now on their specials. I got one pound of shrimp and one pound of snow crab legs. The shrimp was super big and plentiful, but for those who can’t eat things with a head a little disclaimer the shrimp still has its head on. The snow crabs were alright, but you can really see that these are frozen snow crab legs that they just reheated. I will come back here again because the price was pretty cheap for all that I have gotten.

Went here with my boyfriend. Our favorite would be the Cajun wings because it was really moist and juicy for being deep fried. We got 1 lb shrimp, 1 lb mussels, and 2 lbs of the king crab. The crab is by far our favorite! You get so much meat. We were practically full and had to take the rest home.

I have been here two times now and both times did not disappoint. The seafood was fresh and I love the house special sauce(a mix of all of the sauces). This place is very similar to Bucket O’Crawfish in style. Service was awesome, very attentive. There are still a few more days of their opening special(½ off all seafood), so come out quickly before that deal disappear. There are also karaōke rooms, which are free to use. I did sing my heart/throat out that first time. There is a full bar so the liquid courage was very helpful. Come here for great seafood and great karaōke fun.

Not because I’ve already devoted my love to Bucket O’Crawish or anything, but this doesn’t come close. Even with the current %50 off all seafood. Their menu is composed similar to Bucket O’Crawfish but with additional features. They have two different flavors of wings, lobster, gumbo, oysters, etc. The oysters absolutely traumatized me… When they come out you just think«wow,» what a generous portion/size. I had to cut a piece because it was way too big and I kid you not. it was probably the worst taste I’ve ever experienced. I felt like I literally just grabbed the oyster out of the ocean and popped it in my mouth. Not fresh, just fishy. It almost came back out. I also had a taste of the lemon pepper chicken which was actually pretty good. My friend and I ordered the spiciest level on everything but it was nothing near Crazy Hot: snow crab-garlic butter — it was okay, seemed frozen and the meat just seemed too dry, clams-Cajun — wasn’t anything too great, shrimp-crazy mix — the crazy mix didn’t seem to have much flavor, and mussels-lemon pepper — this was probably my favorite out of them all. Corn is included in all of the bags which I thought was neat since it’s extra at Bucket. I believe with the current deal, all of this food came out to be about $ 35.00 which isn’t too bad. I suggest trying it before the prices go up. I probably wouldn’t care to go here again but then again I feel like I should give it another chance. My group of about 10, however, was very VERY, displeased… haha

I would rather pay full price to make a more satisfying mess at Bucket O’ Crawfish. At any given feast-style seafood place, the only things matter would be a plentiful amount of flavorful, solid sauce and the freshness of the seafood. KTV was very lacking in both. We ordered fried oysters, 2 lbs of snow crab legs, 1 lb of shrimps, and 1 lb of clams, and paid extra for the fresher options they offered. With the exception of the clams, everything was not very fresh. Makes me wonder what the less fresh option they got would be like. Snow crab legs appeared to be the precooked kind. They were small and half hollow inside. Even the little meat it had was mediocre in flavors. Some of the shrimps were quite fresh, but some weren’t. The overall freshness was slightly above that of a buffet place. The fried oysters were also terrible. After being battered, fried, and dipped in BBQ sauce, it still had a very bold fishy taste to it. Not a fan of that. My family really likes the cajun sauce at Bucket O’ Crawfish so we figured we do all cajun. It turned out instead of using fresh ground ingredients, they used the store-bought powder kind, which was extremely weak in flavors, bland, and has a strange aftertaste. They also don’t give you much sauce at all. I usually look forward to dipping my seafood in the sauce and suck out every bit of it but their sauce wasn’t even good, not even a little bit, so I didn’t care. The idea is great, they’ve got a beautiful spacious place, with a cool karaōke option, but the food was very poorly executed. Even with the 50% off promotion it was still not worth it. Will we be back? I am highly doubtful.

Coming from California, there are many pop up places for this kind of seafood concept. I am not kidding when I say I eat crawfish every week(pretty detrimental to my health but the guy I’m dating won’t eat anything else). This place gave my friends and I great laughs. Let me tell you why. The size of the oysters are MASSIVE. People weren’t kidding when they said they were the size of their hands. Normally, you can slurp the oysters in one slurp but this, we had to basically bite the oyster in two because it wouldn’t all fit in our mouths. THAT was fun to watch others try to eat. When we walked into the store at 11PM on a Sunday night(1⁄18 to be exact), it was EMPTY. We were kinda skeptical, really skeptical. We saw the menu in the front and it said $ 10.99 per pound for crawfish. I was like WHAT. And like $ 11.99 for half dozen oysters. When we got to our table, our waitress said it was 50% off. When I heard this, it was like angels whispering in my ears and I was in heaven. They were saying my favorite words(other than FREE). We ordered 2 pounds of crawfish, 1 pound of king crab legs, and half dozen of oysters. The crawfish, we ordered«house special», which was a mixture of all of the sauces(similar to Boiling Crab in California). In my opinion, there’s not enough sauce… like at all. if they added a lot more sauce and had the crawfish sit in the sauce to marinate and stuff, it would’ve been good! Also, they only had 3 spice levels, mild, spicy, and very spicy. We ordered spicy(thinking it was equivalent to medium), it was pretty spicy BUT not that much because there wasn’t a lot of sauce. If there was a lot of sauce to it, then yes, it would’ve been spicy and I would’ve enjoyed it a lot more. King Crab legs were decent, hard for me to crack though since the shell was soft. Overall, this place was DIRTCHEAP(due to promotional prices). I would definitely come back if the prices were still 50% off because that’s such a bargain! All of our food turned out to be $ 25! SOAWESOME! I’ve never seen anything like it. King Crab legs are originally $ 12.95 so it was $ 6.50 after the 50% off. The crawfish was $ 10.99 and $ 5.50 after the discount. One thing I found was disgusting was that my glass of water wasn’t washed. There was gunk all over the outside of it so it’s questionable to the cleanliness of the place. BUT! I didn’t get a stomach ache or food poisoning afterwards so I would say we’re safe! They quickly switched my cup out after I brought it to their attention. Hopefully, they will keep this in mind and improve on it. I have high hopes for this place! Also, I think that there’s karaōke at this place so you can sing your heart out after you grub.

This place is a gem due to their prices and hours. They also serve alcohol and have a few karaōke rooms for $ 25 – 30 an hour. I went here with my friend and we ordered 2 pounds of king crab legs, 2 pounds of clams, 1 pound mussel and 1 pound shrimp and our bill came out to $ 42! soo cheap and I thought it was pretty flavorful! this place is very decent and I do recommend this place if you’re looking for sea food.

I love seafood and I was really excited to try this place when a friend told me about it. Their concept is similar to that of Bucket ‘O Crawfish where seafood is served by the pound in a bag of sauce, you de-shell it yourself, and eat with your hands. Cajun Fries were good and crispy and came with a bottle of ketchup rather than in a sauce cup, so we squirted some right on the table. It got pretty messy with our seafood juices too. Oysters were on the menu for $ 9.99 for a ½ dozen but ended up being $ 11.99 because our waitress said it was due to «rising costs and so sorry for not changing the menu, but that’s how much it is.» Eh, okay. They were the largest raw oysters I’ve ever had. It reminded me of the ones you can purchase at WinCo for cheap. Too big to eat in one gulp and were a bit fishy… Definitely will skip em if I ever return. Mussels were tiny and rubbery and the shells were barely open and tough, so I had a difficult time removing the meat. Mild House Special seasoning was bland. The shrimp was fine, but didn’t absorb the garlic butter sauce very well. The snow crab was the best, but only slightly. Their house special seasoning was spicy like I ordered, and it had a curry-like taste to it. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. Service was slow and unorganized. 2 different waitresses came by to take our order after we had already placed it with the gentleman greeting people and the same thing happened to the booths nearby us. It took forever to get our check and change as well. I get that this place is new and Friday night is a prime time for dining, but they need to check on their customers more. It was nice that all the seafood items are 50% off for their grand opening, but I doubt I’d be back to pay full price when Bucket ‘O Crawfish tastes so much better.

So good, great family run business! We use to always drive to bucket o crawfish in west valley but we are so glad there is now another good seafood restaurant that is much closer to us! We got a lb of shrimp a lb of crab and a whole lobster(about 2.5 lbs) house special and extra hot!!! So good highly recommend this place to anyone!

We were very skeptical being the only ones in the restaurant at dinner time. Since it is new we overlooked that part. This place was once a Mulboons a very long time ago where you would get a big bowl of chilled shrimp that you would peel yourself. After that place was a Chinese buffet that was horrible from the get go, I think it changed hands a few times too. Glad to see this place up and going. We were seated promptly and had a very cool server, she was funny and very enthusiastic. We asked why the crab was 50% off and she said it was for celebrating the upcoming Chinese New Year. We still have time to go back before then. We really enjoyed the food, the catfish, the fried oysters, the king crab, the snow crab, and the clams. Made a huge mess on the table with lemon pepper, house sauce, Cajun sauce all over the place. :-) Loved the flavors of the sauces and want to go back and try others. Very simple menu not too many items and what they do they do very well.
