I love kneaders food. Bad drive through experience. Our food took longer than normal which is fine, it’s fresh. The girl apologized for taking so long and gave us a cookie for our wait. Nice, right? But she forgot my bread that we requested for my salad and our chips with our sandwich. Like thanks for the cookie but we are missing half of our order… We had to catch a movie and don’t have time to turn back

I am a full on Kneaders lover, except for this location. It blows. I keep going back thinking it’ll get better again, but nope. Last time, the berries in my berry salad were half frozen and slimey. Got some soup that was lukewarm the time before that. Today, the croutons on my salad are burnt and the avocado is mushy and bruised. I need to face the facts and pretend like this location doesn’t exist. They can’t even get the desserts right anymore So disappointed since this one right around the corner.

I have loved this place since it was opened. No so much now. Thought they changed management since the last few months have been terrible. Less turkey in the soup, less turkey on the sandwiches, the portions on desserts are smaller. Forgotten salad dressings or sauce with bread puddings. I no longer choose to get ripped!

i used to love this place… until today. I ordered their 3 cheese grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of soup. When I got it home and started eating, I found three long dark hairs melted into the sandwich. I called the manager, Kris or Carissa or something like that. She apologized, took my name and number so they could get me set up for a free meal at another time. She then asked«is there anything else I can do for you» and I jokingly said«make sure your cooks are wearing hairnets» She said«I’m going back right now to make sure they put them on.» That’s when I asked, «were they cooking with out them?» Her response was that because they are a franchise operations it is up to the owners to determine the rules and they are not always required to wear hair nets. But she would go back and make sure they put them on. I was under the impression that it was a Utah Department of Health required that anybody who cooks must wear a hair net. My next call is to the health department. Eat at your own risk!!!

Since my last review I’ve been there a couple times. I’m happy to say that their customer service has improved immensely. They are cheery at the window as well as the drive thru!

First of all, I have been to this location probably 100 times because it is close by and at least an alternative to a burger, but they literally have never gotten my order 100% correct, never! They forget something every time. The employees are not overly friendly either. I get the feeling that they think they are doing ME a favor by existing. Sandwiches are sparse. Meat and cheese don’t ever cover all the bread, especially the chicken salad sandwiches.

Highlights — Decent pastries — Decent sandwiches — Half off pastries after 8 on Saturday’s! Kneaders is a localized version of what I’m familiar with as La Madeline. It’s really a pastry/sandwich shop reasonably common in Salt Lake City. If you’re fond of small homey shops where you can get a quick bite with a latte or smoothie or some such beverage, it’s a pretty reasonable place to end up. Nothing struck me as particularly amazing, but nothing was hugely disappointing either.

Love their shredded turkey sandwiches in hazelnut bread, cream of broccoli soup, and desserts(pumpkin bread is in season). Fresh, fast food. And gifts to check out while you’re waiting.

We love Carrot Cake… the frosting over powers the cake and by the time we eat the cake we have a ton of frosting that we discard. Overall, I love their croissant sandwiches, the soups, and their zucchini breads.

They need to update their hours on Unilocal. They use at nine. Not ten. All chairs up and vacuuming and they ask, what can I get for you. Service sucks. I’m done with kneaders!

Food is decent. Bathrooms are filthy. Two of the Kneaders employees were smoking smack in the middle of their own parking lot. Disgusting.

BESTSANDWICH/SMOOTHIE EVER!!! I went in today for my very first time and ordered the Turkey Bacon Avocado on croissant with a Peach Planet Smoothie on the side. I just can’t emphasize how good it was. Not exaggerating at all. That was probably one of the best lunches I’ve ever had in my life. Definitely coming back! Recommended!

food is a 5. service is a negative 1! if they are at all busy, expect to be ignored, overlooked, passed by and have the 4 orders behind you be served before you. awful! I will drive the extra miles next time to go to a different location.

Oh Kneaders! Sometimes I love you. Sometimes I want to punch you in the face. Mostly I just want to eat your bacon and egg and cheese croissant every morning. That alone bumps it to a three star. Their breakfasts are good, their sandwiches inconsistent. Sometimes you get enough turkey for the entire sandwich; usually, you get enough to only eat one half(which means you’re paying $ 6 for half a sandwich.) The cookies can be good IF not over-baked; unfortunately, they are also hit or miss. The brownies would be fantastic BUT the frosting tastes like it’s from a jar. The peppermint brownies during the holidays are very good, though.(Avoid the sugar cookies at all costs — SO dry, so gross.)

go elsewhere for breakfast — if you aren’t a morning person, and think of lunch around 10:30 you’ll want to find somewhere else to go. I walked in well before the breakfast cutoff, waited in line for at least 5 minutes and when I finally got to the counter it was 11:03 — I proceeded to order French toast and was very rudely told«I’m sorry it’s not possible to order» save your time, don’t eat here, go somewhere else who wants to serve customers.

My favorite has always been the turkey and artichoke on focaccia. However, every time I have gone in the last several months the amount of turkey gets smaller and smaller until it is almost non existent and what is there is almost a turkey paste. I don’t know why restaurants start something good and then think the way to go is to start skimping on quality. Either raise the price and actually add turkey or start calling it artichoke on focaccia.

I have been coming to this place for many years and today was the first time I remembered to check in and post on Unilocal. The inside tables were dirty and hadn’t been cleaned and the place only had 3 other people inside. We opted to do take away since we didn’t want to put them out by asking them to clean the tables of an almost empty restaurant. The turkey bacon avocado wasn’t that great, the bread was really dry, the bacon looked to be leftover from breakfast and the turkey only had a few pieces. Looks like they are skimming down on the portion sizes. The desserts were awesome though, everything was so delicious flaky, fresh, not too sweet.

What a disappointment! We placed a large delivery order. Delivery was late. Several items didn’t come at all. Too late to fix. Guests had to share. Several entrees tasted as if they had been cooked the night before and warmed over. We were overcharged by $ 20.00. No croissants with the omelets as ordered. A huge disappointment and disaster for a family breakfast. Never, ever again will we use Kneaders.
