Living in Woodlake makes this a convenient place to eat — so we dine here fairly often. The food is consistently good. The best part is they deliver when we’re snowed in! Thankful for their commitment to quality and customer service.

I’m from NYC with high standards, and this place is the closest to the quality I expect.

I love this place and my husband seriously knows Chinese food (at one time he worked at a Chinese restaurant) and he loves it too. We have been here multiple times, and it’s old school music and décor, white table cloths, and excellent service. Food-​wise, they have the best fried rice in the area, one of our go-​to dishes that decides whether we like the restaurant or not. Seafood dishes let the seafood flavor come though a light sauce. Standard appetizers done well, especially the fried dumplings — we love pot-​stickers. Moo Shu Pork with plenty of warm pancakes and plum sauce. We haven’t found a bad dish yet.

Been here several times; take out twice. Never have had a bad experience. Spicy dumplings are a must! Good food, not too fancy, just a great price for a decent portion of traditional Chinese food. Took a group of friends a few months back for a Friday night out and they loved it! Good buddy of mine that was with us had Chinese food for the first time there, and he asks time and time again to do it all again.
Only thing negative I can find is there’s one chef (I don’t know who exactly he/​she may be) that gets a little skimpy when putting meat/​fish into dishes. They give more rice and veggies than what you actually order. Happens to me usually with Treasures of the Sea and Happy Family, but still not bad at all! Definitely recommend taking family and friends here for a weekend night on the streets. Lunch is great too. Due to it’s location they’re usually pretty empty (which worried me at first), but I was not disappointed with the result. Free noodles with duck sauce at every meal? Who can complain? I went with my father and mother once who are VERY old school. Reminded them of the Chinese restaurants they used to hit in Philadelphia when they were dating in the 80s and to this day they say Zheng has the best local Chinese food for Midlothian.
Delivery is okay too, but if you want more food for the price you pay and fresher food I definitely suggest eating in. The food isn’t bad when delivered when compared to others like Asia Café, but it’s definitely worth eating in. It’s not that far of a drive up the road for the average local in Mosely/​Midlothian either. I strongly recommend it. Definitely doing a restaurant review for my YouTube network on this place. Went here during the week on lunch… first visit, the place was empty. That was not a good sign however, my wonton soup was piping hot and the chicken & brocolli was good & fresh. Nothing special about the restaurant but the food was good & I will return.

We do take out here often. Think stereotypical 1980s chinese take out (in a good way) and you’ve got the picture. Decent food, excellent price, satisfies a craving. A good deal for American Chinese when you want the taste of noodles and sauce.

We have ordered take out here for years and have no regrets. I think it is a great value. It is not to fancy, just good food. We have never eaten inside, always taken out so I cannot speak to the service. Kids love it. Nearly every week they want Chinese from Zheng Garden.

We’ve had takeout from here often over the past few years, but last night’s takeout may end that. The seafood was overcooked and the sauce was watery. Not sure if this is a trend… Hope not, because it used to be reliably good.

Good neighborhood-​grade Chinese. It’s not going to attract diners from all over Richmond, but it’s close and has a typical Chinese menu so most people will find something to like. I love the spareribs!
