VFW post + Lent = Friday fish fry.
I had the pleasure of going to a Friday fish fry at this VFW post. There was both fried and broiled fish, chicken, shrimp (extra charge), baked beans, corn, french fires, mac and cheese and coleslaw. Plus there was a selection of home made cakes. And its 9 bucks.
We now measure time and progress in terms of Moore’s law. However, the fish fry for me was a trip back to simpler times: salt of the earth people and our American traditions.

the lady who works the bar is a mega bitch! She talks a lotta shit becase they are next to a police station. the night i was there she got into several spats with different people I will never throw anything in this horrible spot, btw the bathrooms are a complete joke they even have that old ass cloth thing that rotates to dry your hands on gross!
