Mulligan’s Sports Grille

The first two times we got wings here they were great. We were excited to finally get a Wednesday night off to get the all u can eat wings for $ 8.99. We got another couple and their kids to meet us and were told they stopped doing that a few days again. We pointed out that it was still posted in the window but management wouldn’t honor it. We ended up spending $ 82 for 4 lg. orders of wings, ff and nachos! The food was not even close to the last time we got them. The gariic Romano wings had no flavor or hint of Romano cheese. My granddaughter ordered a kids chicken nugget meal When they brought out the food (20 min later even tho we were the sole diners) we were told they ran out of nuggets so the cook made her homemade ones … I plain chicken breast sliced in pieces. Wth??? So disappointed. $ 80??? I suspect the kitchen will be closed soon. The waitress was really friendly as was the manager. About the only good thing I can say about this trip… My last trip

As a former regular of not only the Mulligan’s location on West Main St in The Fan, but other dingy sports bars around Richmond, I can safely say that this location in Southside has to be the saddest, filthiest place I can ever remember going to.
Not only did the smell of smoke permeate every breath I took, the amount of dust and God knows what else in the carpet kept me sneezing and sniffling for the less than 30 minutes we were there.
The bathrooms were despicable. A black trash bag covering a urinal greeted me upon my enterance, and the stall was covered in graffiti and was lacking a locking mechanism to hold the door closed.
UPDATE 11÷3÷2015: We won, everyone. This dump has closed.

One star for having beer. This place is a dump. New owners? They need John Tafford from Bar Rescue! I may need a tetanus shot!!! WTH

w– trash city… Angry drunks and rude waitresses. Back in 2001, the place was decent. It seems to be a felon hang out with fights breaking out among cave men. Yuck

This place has gone down hill since the original owner sold it. Female bartenders and waitresses are unattractive and unattentive. Hope they go out of business soon so a real sports bar takes it’s place.

I am new to the area and wanted to check out a local sports pub that was close to me in Midlothian for lunch. Much to my surprise, this place was awesome. Christine, the bar tender, was friendly, down to earth and attentive. I ordered the NC pork sandwich and while I know there are some great pork sandwiches in this area, this sandwich was phenomenal. I got to speak with the cook about the great quality and the quantity, as I could not finish my fries. You should also know that this place is completely smoke-​free now, which after reading the reviews was a nice surprise. I will definitely be going back. Thank you for a great Friday lunch.

Great time on Mother’s Day, granted not many customers but the food was good. Hamburgers are always the winner and only $ 1 on Thursday. We hand the quesadilla which was awesome and burger and fries, love the fries and homemade ranch and blue cheese for dipping, love it and the ‘bombshell’ shaved chicken sandwich which was okay. Followed by a tasty cheesecake. Nice service, the bartender waited on us as the waiter called out sick. He was very accommodating.
It has tv and trivia game, so is you are looking for low key and good good this is the place for you.

Thought the 1 $ drinks for ladies night was awesome ! Music was pretty good .
Wasn’t too crowded but fun

Smoke, Smoke, Smoke. It permeated the dinning room and even down the sidewalk before I got there.
I don’t care how good the food is, the Smoke ruined the visit.
I ordered to go and couldn’t get the food fast enough.
This is a Smoker’s Heaven, if there is such a thing.

This place is my guilty pleasure: it is the only restaurant where I’ll clear plate of burger and fries! Being a sports bar, Mulligans is a nice compromise bc they always have one tv playing trivia while my husband lives in sports heaven!

My rating started falling the minute we opened the door. The place reeks of smoke from the «divided» Mulligans bar next door. But we went in anyway, and wished we hadn’t. The onion rings for an appetizer were decent. I got the Bear Bryant, a buffalo chicken sub. It literally came out on a hot dog bun! My wife got the Bill Cowher Reuben. Just a pile of greasy ham slices.
