MiMi Nails Spa

We love Mimi’s!!! They always take such good care of us and do a beautiful job. They make us feel so welcome and are so sweet and funny. I’ve had so many different people here give me pedicures and manicures and have always had a great experience. My daughters love to come here for a special report card reward!!!

I just read another review giving Mimi’s a 2 star rating with a very long rant about how bad the service was — that her pedicure took 2.5 minutes (this alone is ridiculous — any one who’s ever had a pedicure knows that’s absolutely impossible!) and the workers being unprofessional. This lady must be confusing Mimi’s with a different salon.
I have been going to Mimi’s exclusively since they opened (over 2 years) and have NEVER had a bad experience — nor have I heard about or witnessed an experience even remotely like what she’s describing. I’ve never witnessed anyone unhappy with their services — in fact quite the opposite.
I’ve had pedicures, eyebrow waxing and gel nails /​refills /​shellac nail polish as well as designs on my nails. These people bend over backwards to make sure you’re happy. They know many of the customers by name because they have such a loyal following. Their prices are excellent for the services they offer and the staff is outstanding — very engaging and professional — yet you feel like they’re a good friend from the very first time you go. The owner is there just about every day from open to close. She and every single person working there provide such a very high level of service — I’m now spoiled and won’t go anywhere else.
Okay — nobody’s perfect right? If I had to come up with one thing that could be a negative — it would be that during certain times of the day or especially near any holiday — they can be very busy and you may have to wait for 10 minutes or so before they can get to you. This is just proof that in the short time they’ve been in business –they’ve developed a huge client base. And they do not advertise — so it’s all word-​of-​mouth.
After reading that review I felt like I had to set the record straight.
Keep up the good work Mimi and staff (and a special nod to my girl Tee).
P. S. I totally recommend the shellac nail polish! It simply Does Not Chip. I’ve gone for over a month between fill-​ins and no chips. It costs a little extra — but in the long run — I Love It!

So I doubt I will frequent here anymore because I mentioned in my earlier review about the inconsistency amongst workers. So on my last visit, the TOTAL pedicure massage (sugar scrub, hot stones, towels, lotion) lasted 2.5 minutes-​and yes I timed it! I was so dang angry!!! Even the lady sitting next to me said her one leg being massaged lasted longer than my entire process –and when i complained –they had the nerves to ask me if i wanted to pay extra for a delux massage! And one worker told me they have 30 min to do a complete pedi (understandable) –well my issue with this concept is –if you hire new workers and they are slow because they are still learning the ropes then that is not fair to the customers-​because they spend all their time slowly getting their materials together/​running water/​filing the nails/​TALKING to their coworkers/​trying to be in every convo etc. that they look up at the clock and realize they have 5 min left to massage your feet and paint your toes. Since they failed to care of my complaints, I will not recommend this place anymore. Also, the lady doing my nails didn’t speak english well and she asked if i wanted my fingernails cut down and I said no –and she cut them anyway because she didn’t understand (yet she she shook her head in understanding smh). If you are in the area then maybe go (but be specific about who does your nails, I guess?)-but I recommend to go elsewhere if you want consistent service and a staff that cares about your complaints

I love this place. … I always go here for my pedicures. The people that work here are super nice! I have been to other places in the area but I like the service here.

Not a bad place. Total, I paid $ 35 for a manicure and a pedicure, plus a 15% tip.
I’d recommend just their pedicures though. What made me recommend this is the hot stones they use… holy cow. They felt amazing on my feet and legs.
Their manicures aren’t bad, but they’re nothing special. They just soak your nails, file, and paint. They do a good paint job though.
One thing I dislike is how they dont shape your nails evenly. Clip and shape your own nail before hand or you’ll be stuck with uneven nail lengths.

Divine massage while getting a pedicure here. By the time the leg massage was complete, I was ready to go and had almost completely forgotten that I had actually come in to get polish on my tootsies! Great color choices, friendly staff, clean, nice ambience. It’s been over a week and not a single chipped nail! Definitely recommend!

Very nice and clean and calm. Pedi was awesome going back for nails. Will definitely return. I’ve been to 2 others in this area and Mimis was by far the best all around

Very clean. Had to wait about 25 mins for a pedicure, and massage was short. But nails look good in the end and cleanliness is important in these salons. I’ve seen some in the area that are downright gross.

First time at MiMi’s but definitely not the last! I’ve never had such a relaxing experience. First time the «sanding» of my feet didn’t tickle and make me squirm, and the calf and foot massage went on forever! Best price ($ 25) for a hot stone massage and pedi. I am going to need pedis way more often!

This place is always busy. I had come in twice before but the wait was too long. Got the standard mani/​pedi. They used stones fir a short time during the pedi. They did a thorough job. My nails weren’t painted up to the cuticle for some reason so it looks like i need another mani. Good value for the price but nothing over the top compared to others in the area.

Convenient location. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon for a pedicure. I was the first one in the pedicure seats, and as my pedicure went on, it quickly began to fill up. Apparently everyone else had the same idea to get a pedicure on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. Be warned though, this is no quick in-​and-​out pedicure process, not that I was upset with that! My pedicure took about an hour to complete, but when it was done, my toes looked awesome and my feet were smooth. I enjoyed the no-​rush pedicure and the great service. I will be back next time I’m in the area and in need of a pedicure.

My husband and I came in to get pedicures, they were phenomenal! Not only did they clean our toes and pumice our feet they also gave us full leg and feet massages to include hot stones! I have never been more satisfied with a pedicure! Their facility is clean and bright and the music on the radio is modern rather than that annoying elevator music. The lady took pride in her work and the pedicure lasted about an hour, not one of those speedy jobs, we were able to actually relax and enjoy ourselves. The price was a bit steep but I HIGHLY recommend this establishment for pedicures!
