Krispy Kreme

The donuts are terrific when they come out hot. Made right on site so better than your grocery store Krispy Kreme. If your in the mood for donuts this is the place to come. I still like a hot Krispy crème over duck donuts or sugar shack.

Krispy Kreme has the drive thru, which is pretty sweet for a fast pickup on your way to work. Co-​workers get a little friendlier early in the morning when they see/​smell you walk through the door sporting the unmistakable aroma of coffee and fried doughy goodness.
This location is fairly quick at 6:45 in the morning, and the doughnuts have been warm and fresh. The service has been more cheery on some days rather than others, but I guess not everyone is a morning person, and somebody has to work the window…

Fresh donuts. One associate was nice and friendly. The other was less than polite.

In NJ there are millions of Dunkin Donuts, in the south there’s Krispy Kreme. Oh geese. There is only one reason to go here and that’s for your sweet tooth. You’re not looking for nutrition at this place. You want warm gooey sugary sweet melt in your mouth doughnuts.
That’s exactly what you will get. The air outside smells like doughnuts when you drive in. There are assorted doughnuts here that are tasty too. This place made me realize I can’t move too close to my lovely family in Va. The influence lol. We bought two dozen. First box assorted (Looks down in shame) was handed to us in the drive thru. They told us we’d have to wait for the hot ones! There wasn’t a complaint anywhere. Not even horns from the cars behind us because when Krispy Kreme tells you to wait YOU wait patiently. So we all set there… eating assorted doughnuts. A few moments later we were given the hot box and yes… as we drove away we all proceeded to grab a hot doughnut. Oh man. Krispy Kreme don’t come to south/​central Nj.
Yes I recommend this location. Mouth waters from memory… :)

This Krispy Kreme is the closest donut shop to my house. It also has a drive thru, which I love because it means that I don’t have to get fully dressed to get a treat :)
Each visit has been pretty much the same. Donuts that aren’t fresh. I’m not sure what the deal is, but that’s a huge prerequisite in a donut for me! Hot and fresh. The last time I visited was around 8 a.m., so I’m not sure why I was served a cold, hard donut.
Their regular coffee is also lacking.
I have to say Dunkin’ Donuts definitely does a better job with their donuts and coffee. Don’t think I’ll be returning.

This one tends to be sooooooo sllooowwwww *imitates a slug moving on a cold day* at the drive-​thru. I think I played some Hay Day and had several interesting in depth conversations with my 3 year old while waiting in the drive thru line. However, the line was super long because it was National Donut Day and folks wanted their free donuts, BUT, the line tends to be long usually. I know my bff who lives over here as well would rather drive to the one off of Broad St by Willow Lawn because their line doesn’t tend to be as sluggish.
The drive thru people are usually very nice though!
Their new lemon donut is awesome mix of tart, tooth-​achingly sweet, glazed cake donut heaven.

This location needs to get it together. A recent Sunday morning trip yeilded apathetic and confused staff that misunderstood our order twice. Plus, they were out of cake doughnuts, and even though the Hot sign was on, the glazed doughnuts were cold. Sadness!

No glazed doughnuts on my visit. That’s like going to Qdoba at Chesterfield town center and them having no tortillas, which has happened as well. This area just suffers from a lack of a good available work force.

Stopped here with my Son. Decided on two Glazed donuts. After the first donut my Brain suddenly suggest to my stomach that another 3 or 4 might seal the deal. But Thank God for Will Power I was able to stop at 2! I often wonder why there are no (KKA) Krispy Kreme Anonymous support groups for those of us suffer from the addiction of not being able to eat just one! Lol

I think that anytime I come here, the hot and fresh sign is on, whether it’s during the week or on a weekend night. There’s always a wait in the drive thru lane, but that’s to be expected when they’re selling some hot and fresh donuts! I’ve never had a bad experience with the service and I always go for a dozen of their glazed donuts, so it’s not like they can really run out of those!
I’ll keep coming back to you Krispy Kreme, and especially now that you have Panda Express right next door.

I love going to this Krispy Kreme and watching the little donuts be made. It’s like being in the hospital nursery. So cute. One of the girls that works there did me a solid and tossed my donut through the glaze machine twice. DOUBLE GLAZE. Try it. It’s pure diabetes. This location is almost in the ghetto, but its worth it. Delicious.

I love stopping by here after visiting my grandparents. Mom and I usually get a dozen of originals and another of assorted. They’re really delicious and the limited edition pumpkin cheesecake aren’t so bad! I picked up two pirate donuts just to see if they’re good, too. I brought them home and they were gone quick.
Staff members are friendly and the place is kept tidy and clean. Going to keep coming here for those hot, tasty yummies.

We went in today on the way home from grocery shopping. We got an assorted dozen. I finally got a lemon filled donut. Lemon filled is one of my favorite donuts and its been years since I’ve had a lemon filled donut. It was yum! But Krispy Kreme sure skimp on the chocolate icing. I mean seriously, you should not see bare donut when a donut is iced. A good ½″ parameter or more was not iced with chocolate. My excitement at getting fresh donuts was certainly dimmed by the stinginess of chocolate icing.

This new location is awesome. I could eat a krispy kreme glazed donut everyday of the week. The employees are friendly Herr as well. The only thing about this location is the selection just like others have mentioned BUT, I always get the regular glazed donuts anyways and they are always good. The best way to get them is right when the come out of the oil, on to the conveyer and a quick trip through the waterfall of glaze… mmm mmm mmmm. Super soft dough, partially melts in your mouth

Very friendly staff! They have remained slammed up until this week. They are one of the key shoppes at the new Stonebridge shopping area in with the Kroger Super Market. Now, I can’t tell you anything new about Krispy Kreme… I order the «Original or «Chocolate Glaze»… You know what they taste like… or…you need to find out! A terrific addition to a new shopping area, Stonebridge! You’re not going to miss it! It’s across from Panera and Carena’s!

Great donuts just like any Krispy Kreme. The problem is there selection. Don’t assume just because its on the Krispy Kreme corporate website menu that you will find it here. I had a craving for some more specialized donuts and some eclairs but was quickly disappointed…

Yummy! The doughnuts are great especially when they are fresh and hot! I could probably eat the whole dozen myself. Location is great and more convenient than the other one on Broad st.

You know its good. Gunna treat ourselves to a mix of Chocolate Icing Cream Filled, Raspberry Fill and Maple. You gotta try the Maple. Mmmmm

Love this location better than the Broad Street location. There was a very long line here when I went yesterday because it’s still a brand new store, and lots of people wanted to visit this location. Even though there was a very long line, I was able to get my two dozen doughnuts and pay for them in a short amount of time! I remember going to the Broad Street location one day for a buy one, get one free promotion. It took me an hour and a half to get through the line, and that line was just as long as the line I was in at this location. This store was well organized, had workers greet us as soon as we walked in through the door, and was built at a great place on Midlothian Turnpike. I’m so happy that there’s a Krispy Kreme South of the James River now. This store is going to do really well, I guarantee it.

Hot glazed doughnuts are served in South Richmond now! This is the newest location in the Richmond area. Expect a wait inside the shop as well as drive-​thru until the buzz die down. This Krispy Kreme is located near the old Cloverleaf Mall.
