I ordered $ 7 fettuccini Alfredo lunch special which was not only delicious but came in a dinner portion with a garden salad! And perfect amounts of chicken and broccoli in the pasta. My daughter ordered linguini with meat sauce which was also delicious. See posted pics.

Have been to this location when it first opened year or so ago and the pizza was great then! But just recently tried it and wasn’t impressed. Also was very excited that they were selling pupusas and had delivery services! The first time we tried them. They were amazing but the second time we ordered pupusas for delivery. They didn’t taste good and seemed like they were frozen and reheated! Also the salsa that goes along with the pupusas needs a little more work.

Before I get into this one: I want to say I’m Salvadorean and from NYC. I wish Salvadorean’s would leave pizza to the Italians here in Richmond. I don’t want to go to a pizzeria to see pupusas being sold, I’ll go to a pupuseria for that. If your a pizza and sub place — make pizza and subs. Don’t saturate your menu with food and your fridge with ingredients because that is when the food quality begins to suffer — especially when(at least the times I’ve been) it seems like you have no business. That being said, I’ve been here multiple times and the new management is driving this place to the ground. The waitress has no service skills and the food is sub-par and old at best. I stopped by Friday for 2 Italian sausage slices of pizza — and looked over the counter to see if they had any slices out sitting. Sure enough there where 2 cheese slices that looked like they’d been sitting there since Monday. I told the waitress I wanted two slices and a drink to go but I would wait for a new pie to be cooked as I wanted my food fresh. She says ok. I think the photo speaks for itself. This chick took the crusty slices of dry pizza, put Italian sausage on top and then added extra cheese. The pizza was cold and judging by the cheese on top, it wasn’t even heated long enough, so I have no idea what she did for 20 minutes as I waited. Then as I was paying for my to go order has the nerve to say«would you like to leave me a tip». Never again will I visit this pizzeria. And trust me — I struggle wholeheartedly to call it that. Because what this place truly is now, is a dump. Wish there was decent pizza in RVA.

This place is not what it used to be! Service has gone down, food quality has gone way down, and they could care less! I used to LOVE their pizza, but it is NOTHING like what it used to be. I just got the last order I will ever get from them! Stay away!

First off, it’s set up like a delivery place but there are tables for service. It couldn’t be more frustrating to just get a slice of pizza. I asked for a cup of water and was given a bottle. They treated me like I was an inconvenience to them. Worst of all, the pizza sits around from whatever day they made it. My «supreme» slice was a flavorless wedge of day old pepperoni sponge that they covered with what looked like the ingredients of a salad bag after they threw it in an oven. The only«Brooklyn» aspect of the place is that you feel robbed after you leave.

Looking for NY style pizza? This is the place. Super friendly folks, but the place is small for eat in. They also have a «window display» of the specials for the day. I often go for the impulse buy when we go, it just looks so good.

This is a average pizza spot on Hull Street. When you walk In You definitely get the pizzeria vibe. We ordered a ham bacon and pineapple pizza. They load it up with toppings. I like that personally. Also ordered a medium Stromboli and it wa huge. The Stromboli was filled with pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onions and mushrooms. There was way to many peppers for my taste. Also the nacho raviolis were good but not nacho just your average cheese ravioli. I would go back and try some other items. Not the best pizza in town but not the worst either.

This is a nice little family owned pizza spot on the south side. Hubby & I have wanted to try this place since they opened & we weren’t disappointed. First you have to try the nacho ravioli’s, they’re actually just fried cheese raviolis with marinara to dip & they are damn tasty. I ordered a pineapple, ham & bacon pizza. It was pretty good, lots of toppings, lots of cheese & pretty good sauce. The crust was pretty good but a little uneven. I do wish they cut their pizza slices smaller when you order a whole pie but I think it’s awesome they sell individual slices! They have a great 2 slices & a drink for $ 5. I’m pretty sure it’s the only place to buy pizza by the slice on hull st. Definitely a place worth trying!

Make sure you get the garlic knots and one of the specialty pizzas. This is a great family owned place that makes the best pizza in RVA.

I am a Brooklyn girl through and through(Flatbush) and I was really excited about having another NY style option nearby but after my initial delivery I will just stick with Anna’s. I got the 2 pizza special for 19.99 with one topping. I figured the best test would be to try what they are advertising as their specialty rather than judge them on the pasta and subs. One of the pizzas was supposed to have ½ sundried tomatoes but they called me back 5 minutes later and said they were out so it took my vegetarian daughter about 5 minutes to decide on black olives instead. I figured the pizza would take longer than the 10 minutes but 5 minutes after my conversation with the nice young lady who called the boys walk in with the pizza. The olives were thrown on top of an already baked pizza, it was so obvious I wish I had taken a picture. The crust was inconsistently shaped and too thin at spots. The guy at Anna’s has the old school BK know how to make his crust the same size all the way around and the slices are equal, which seems to be pizza making 101 to me. The sauce wqs unremarkable and it all had a thrown together, don’t care quality so much so that it doesn’t make sense to waste more keystrokes on the review. Bottom line you’re already on Hull street just keep driving to Anna’s. This place is never gonna convince a native NY’er that their baking authentic pies!

I don’t have words to describe our experience a this strip-mall restaurant. We overheard someone saying how awesome the pizza was, but after waiting 50 minutes for it without a drink refill I didn’t really care to. I’ve never had that much grease on a pizza in my life and the dough was tough like cardboard. Not to mention they were totally concentrating on delivery orders and apologizing over and over again for the wait to everyone in the restaurant. I am so mad that I paid $ 23 for food I didn’t even eat, because after waiting so long I was so disappointed in the first bite that I just left. I highly discourage anyone from eating here… head East on Hull Street and stop by Giuseppe’s. You’ll be much happier with the outcome.

Yes, folks. It’s no fluke. They’re serving up some damn good pizza. The«Boys from Bensonhurst» do not disappoint. Bonus points for having pizza night which is Wednesday and Thursday night(and pasta night is Monday and Tuesday if memory serves correct). What does that mean? You’ll leave with a full belly and a few extra bucks in your pocket.
