Great food and service. Chandler served the Veal Parmesan to my husband and I had the a veal masala. The soup and salad were also very good as well as hot crunchy bread. Previous experiences have also been very good which has resulted in my confidence in providing a review.

We went there for dinner last night and the food was amazing! Nice atmosphere, fairly priced, good service! We started with the calamari… best marinara dipping sauce ever. I had the lasagna… best ever. Also their bread with olive oil/balsamic/spices was fantastic! Finished the meal with homemade tiramisu! Great night out! Just be sure you make reservations or you may not get in on the weekends!

Great Italian food and very good service. I will be coming back here whenever I crave Italian. My only suggestion for them is to get some craft beers available.

Food is great but the acoustics are bad! Very noisy and hard to understand a conversation with your table.

This place must literally never be open. I’ve tried to go here 5 different times during normal restaurant hours and it’s always been closed.

The best Italian restaurant I have been in. I had the lasagna and it was the greatest lasagna I have ever had. I will continue ordering this when I am in town. So good! !!!

My hubby’s favorite place. Dinner is good, many choices. Don’t like their lunch, inexpensive though.

The best restaurant in Midland, and there isn’t a close second. The dining scene in Midland is a sad corporate desert of sad chains, and Villa D’alessandro is an Oasis. The executive chef, Marco D’alessandro’s culinary pedigree is evident by the consistent and great execution of their flavorful and creative dishes. This should be your next dining destination.

My wife and I ate here again last night. And once again it was OUTSTANDING. We sat outside on a beautiful night among the grape vines and beside the wall where we could hear the water cascading down along with the soft music in the background. Our waiter was named Mike and he did a wonderful job. The service was perfect with each course coming out at the right time, not too quickly but just right. We never felt rushed. Never had an empty glass. And the food? Well it was mouth watering. As usual we ordered too much from appetizers to entrees but it was oh so good. We loved the atmosphere with people at the varioius tables talking, lauging, eating, sipping wine and obviously enjoying themselves. And we saw some old friends who stopped by our table as they know all about this place and are frequent guests. It was a great evening and wonderful«Date Night» with my sweetheart who happens to also be my wife of many years. We still believe Villa D’allessandro to be the BEST restaurant in Midland.

I went here for Valentine’s day. The waitress was very sweet, the food was great, the wine selection was immense and it was very quaint. It is exactly what I expected for the price.

The last time I was at this restaurant, it was when it was still owned by the original owner, and in Eastlawn Plaza. Had to have been over a decade ago, so when I tried this place out again, it was with nostalgic memories of the pizza dough being tossed behind a window where the entire restaurant could see the chefs work their magic. When I went just recently, while the décor has changed with the new building, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there is a outside seating area which is well lit and very nice. I went with the Fruti Di Mare, while my date went with a chicken parmesan. I was pleasantly surprised by my meal, as I expected a couple pieces of each type of sea food and mostly pasta, but it was quite the opposite, and after eating my fill of the seafood, I tried the pasta, enjoyed it and still had a decent amount of pasta and seafood left on my plate to take home. All of this for only 18 dollars, which is a pretty good price considering the amount, and type of food involved.

Went to take my 95 year old mother to an early dinner based on their hours of operation, got there at around 3 pm and staff sitting around outside tables said they were closed until 4 pm. Its a big deal taking someone with a walker in and out of a vehicle so I always check hours of operation prior to my dining decision. Well nowhere on any website did they say that they closed mid day. Probably won’t waste my time at this place anytime soon.

For a family owned restaurant in a small town, one would expect the service to be good to extraordinary. I found the service to be neither. I’ve eaten here infrequently and have never been impressed. The food is below average and the service is poor. There are better options to spend locally.

I have the manicotti and it was so-so. I went with a large party of people and nobody seemed to be blown away by the food one way or another. The dinner rolls tasted store bought and plain. One good thing is that the glass of wine they poured me was generous. I wish I knew the names of the waitresses who served us, because one was great and the other one had a bad attitude. When we asked if our bills could be split, she made a big deal out of it and said she’d have to call her boss out to re-do the whole bill.

What this place has going for it is that it is only Italian place in town. Food is decent. Service could be better. Sometimes I weigh wanting Italian and feeling abused by the waitstaff. A couple of waitresses(Shirley for one) go out of their way but this is seldom with the others.

A bunch of us came to try this Midland restaurant of «great» Italian food. After the small salad with it’s light fine sprinkle of what I assume was Parmesan the meal went a southside. The calamari which was cooked just right but resembled onion rings in flavor. The garlic bread was a dinner roll with garlic powder? sprinkled on top but was pretty overwhelming after the first bite. I wouldn’t recommend making out with someone after this bread, unless you get them to eat it too! I had the gnocchi which in no way was the fine fluffy pillows of potato dumplings I’ve had before. It was actually hard and reminiscent of the target brand I’ve tried. I guess there was Gorgonzola cheese in there but I couldn’t taste it. Surprisingly it tasted better the next day reheated via microwaves. The mushroom ravoli chicken dish was overwhelming in the mushroom department according to my friends. I liked the mushrooms but I only had small doses of it. To finish there was tiramisu. This was unlike any tiramisu I’ve had. It was a soft cakey thing that was overly sweet and well only faintly suggestive of tiramisu to me and my colleagues. Lastly our bottle of Campofiorin that we paid $ 36 for is actually only $ 12 online. It was pretty bland for a red wine and we weren’t feeling it even though it was the one suggested by the waitress. I knew I shoulda gone with Chianti! Our waitress was a little bit off. She was snippy and not very nice. This however doesn’t change my rating of the place. I wouldn’t drive very far for this.

Bruschetta appetizer was delicious with fresh tomatoes, basil, and pepper! In the summer their vegetable garden at the front entrance is full of growing tomatoes and eggplant, herbs. Entrée comes with fresh crispy salad and dinner rolls. Frutti di mare(think that’s the name of the seafood pasta I usually get) is good enough. Gnocchi is a little disappointing but extra Italian sausage was well seasoned with herb.

I’m in town for work and a group of ten of us from the office at Dow went to Villa. I was pleasantly suprised with this little gem. Service was prompt, especially for a party of ten. The brushetta app that we got was so good– huge marinated chunks of tomato on toasted bread. one portion was huge enough for us to all sample. I got the Cannonelli stuffed pasta. The two huge tubes of pasta were filled with 4 cheeses and ground beef. It was delicious. Sauce was so good that I couldn’t help but polish it off with their warm bread. Extensive wine list is always a plus too Great experience and wouldn’t mind returning if I ever return to Midland
