Just had our new washer delivered from The Home Depot. They called yesterday letting us know it would be delivered before 12:00 noon Thursday. Then they called this morning to say they would be here in approximately 30 minutes. The driver (Nick) paid careful attention not to run over our lawn which was a tad tricky because our driveway is not just a straight one. He and his help got right down to business bringing the washer in being careful not to hit the walls and doorways. As for the washer… it looks like a nice washer. Thought I was going to do a load, but realized the drum is so big I can wait a day or two before I actually have a load.

From the rental department, I rented a power rake for 4 hours. This is a very heavy piece of equipment and took 2 men to load in back of large SUV. After 20 minutes power rake died, loaded it up and returned it back to store. They offered a different machine and reset my time to 4 hours. Returned home, as soon as the power rake hit the grass or slight slope it died.
Returned and asked for full credit, they said it could have been the way the equipment was winterized. To bad for me… back is broke and this was a JOKE!
Will try Jud’s or Lowe’s for my next job :(
They did issue a full return on credit card.
My time, gas and back … out of luck!
