Schlotzsky’s

I am a Schlotzky’s fan, but this particular location was the most unclean Schlotzky’s I have ever been to. Both the dining area and bathrooms looked as if they have been neglected for quite some time.

This location is dirty, the customer service is horrible and It took them 45 minutes to give us our order. There were only three other sets of customers in the store. I will never go back to this location. The bad service happened on 10÷04÷14 at3:15 pm.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.
We just try to avoid this location all together. Everytime we order from there, there is always something wrong with the order! Then they are rude and mad because we ask them to fix it!
Today was the last straw. There was a fly in my salad, ALIVE. It was my second bite and if i wasn’t paying attention I would’ve ate it. I smashed it, packed up our salads, and called the manager. She agreed to a refund. I went back and waited in line for 30 – 35 min. I get to the window and a cook is standing at the window and rudely asks «are you saying there are flies in here!» I said yes and handed the bag with two salads in it. She gave me a dirty look, told the manager to only refund one salad, and threw them in the trash all while talking under her breath. My husband wasn’t going to eat his after there was a fly in mine, so I wanted a refund for both.
She refunded both and «apologized.» I will NEVER return to this location again and will let all of our friends that eat there know!

This place is one of the only fast-​food places I go to on a regular basis in Midland. Here the people are friendly (which is rare in food service in this town). There’s a guy who works the drive thru during lunch who is super nice! And the closing manager when we went was pleasant even when we annoyingly showed up 10 til close to grab a quick salad. Love the turkey avocado salad, Btw! But the people here make this place a fave!

I lived in Austin, which is the company’s home town, and for some reason the sandwiches taste WAY better there. Also, I’ve had the experience (more than once) in the drive-​thru where they have lots of issues with being able to hear you order over the intercom system… very annoying… I end up having to drive up and order at the window. The one good thing is the Caravel ice cream! Try it! But don’t expect great service!
