So I had reviewed this place before when they first opened and was pretty disappointed. However, given the lack of healthy food options in Midland I’ve given it a fourth shot and many more beyond that now. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the diverse options for specials (BBQ pork tacos, ghost pepper white chilli etc) and now frequent this joint almost every day. They even know my name!
Their pastries always look delicious, although to keep the pounds off I try and stay away.
It seems that the issues they had when starting up at this location have been resolved. You will wait sometimes for your order but just because it’s all hand made.

A place that makes artful food in Midland? Cheese steak sliders with truffle mayonnaise in Midland? Yes. And they were delightful. My associates had chicken salad wraps with avocado and raved in between bites. I took hand made cookies with me. We soon were glad we got there early because at noon there was quite a line.
We have occasional business across the river and have seen many restaurants come and go in Midland. The folks working the counter told us they were celebrating their second year in business. Hope they last because we want to come back.

Mezza Luna is a quaint little place with crazy good edibles and coffee in a town that is essentially a desolate ruin in terms of food options. The BLTA is my go-​to whenever I’m there, however you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, and their daily specials are inventive and delicious. If you’re not so hungry, their daily rotation of fresh cupcakes and cookies are always an option as well. If for some reason you ever find yourself in Midland, I highly recommend you stop in.

Great little place — a bit out of the way from the more populated areas, but if you’re in the area, DEFINITELY stop and check it out!
The food and baked goods are all made fresh. The food is a breath of fresh air, inventive and always seasoned to perfection. The baked goods are a delicious hit for any sweet tooth! They occasionally have vegan or vegetarian options as well.
Unfortunately not open on weekends, so you really do either have to live/​work nearby to be able to enjoy this local gem, but if you’re there, stop by!
