This place is great. Some of the best tacos and tortas in the area. The Barbacoa and Lengua are always safe bets.

The best tacos and tortas in Midland. Soft carne asada tacos with green sauce — yum! Ham and cheese torta with red sauce — yum yum! It is a bakery so you can buy some pan dulce to eat there or take some home for later. Delicious!

This place simply has the best tacos in Midland/Odessa. PERIOD! Love the Ham torta as well and I always have to get a couple of sweets. Sugar Cookies and Gingerbread are delish.

We are new to Midland and wanted authentic Mexican food. The place we were headed to was closed so we decided to stop here. The older lady that helped us was rude. We walked in and had just spend 30+ dollars to get bad customer service. The meat was dry. We asked her if there was salsa and she said«one pet order» and walked away. This place was not worth the stop.

I ordered the brisket tacos and my husband ordered the carne asada tacos. They were solo good. I was worried they would be spicy, but they were not. We also order some lemonade. Awesome! The whole meal was delish.

Food is great but had an experience that was outrageous! Due to them not opening the back area for customers(no parties in it either) customers are forced to take their food else where to eat! If that’s the case– have a drive thru window and close the inside! Customers leaving to this incident and they are not remorseful at all!

Tacos & tortas are off the chain! Pan dulce is good and their empanadas are the best. If you’re looking for service with a smile, it’s hit and miss. There’s one lady who’s usually not very nice, but the rest of the staff is pleasant. I usually have a limonada(lemonade) with my meal and today was no different, except that it had a metallic taste to it. I poured it out and had a coke instead. I should have said something but I was in a hurry and didn’t want to wait in line to tell the unpleasant woman about it to probably be yelled at and scolded for wasting it when I poured it out in the fountain drain. Get your grub on and enjoy the extra hot red salsa on your torta!

Martinez Bakery is a staple. Great pan dulce options and cheap at that. The food is great as well, tortas are the best in town. Horchata is great as well. Check this place out.

I’ve been a patron since they opened their doors and I can honestly say it used to be better… but I’m old with depleted taste buds now so that’s probably the difference. The tacos should and probably do make all other mexican restraunteurs in town jealous. I mean, how is it the best tacos in town come from a bakery? They’ve got the flavor business down pat, it’s always shown in their tortas(estofado is my favorite) and again… tacos…ridiculous. If you want a nice dessert, clearly the bakery side can meet your needs, I recommend the cream cheese empanadas. If I wasn’t weight conscious and/or had the metabolism of a honey badger, I would eat there every day… twice a day. Note: When ordering tacos, they are offered crispy and soft but both on corn tortillas.(most places switch to flour when going soft) I suggest going crispy but I have friends who swear by soft.

Delicious bakery. The bread is fresh and tortas are layered with care. Don’t pass on the tacos, those things are fresh and tasty. A genuine taco, not covered in sauces or any if that tex mex junk.

The Tortas here are ridiculous! The bread is baked in house and they come loaded with the meat of your choice(I’m a big fan of the chicken and barbacoa) and mayo, lettuce, tomato and avocado. They have a red sauce and a green sauce. We usually go around 2 or 3 to avoid the lunch rush and they are always out of the green! If you have a chance, get your hands on some. The red is yummy too, but sometimes it can have a little more heat to it than I’d like. Mexican Coca-Cola and horchata make it perfect.

It gets pretty busy during the lunch hour so go early. Their tortas are pretty tasty. Not that much seating inside. They have plenty of baked goods in the display cases when you walk in. Lines can be out the door at times. They have a little salsa bar as well. They only sell Tortas, Tacos, and Baked goods. Their combo torta meal with a drink and fries is 7.50…kinda pricey.

I just discovered this place today, and I am hooked. We didn’t have a meal there, we just went to stock up on some authentic Mexican pastries. The concept is a simple one, you grab a tray and some tongs and then pile on whatever tempts your eyes and palate. I sampled each one when I got home and they were all delicious. I can’t wait to have the leftovers with my coffee in the morning!

My husband and I go here for lunch pretty often. The menu is simple, with only a few items, but that is one of the things I like about this place. They don’t try to overcomplicate things. You order at the counter, get a number, and they bring the food to your table. We usually get the crispy carne asada tacos with fries and a drink(try the horchata). The tacos are different, garnished with white cheese, cabbage, and avocado. Squeeze some lime and enjoy! The green sauce is always good, but the red sauce lately has been extraordinary! If I didn’t get heartburn from it, I would drink it from a cup! I ordered the barbacoa torta once and it was really good. They definatley are not chincy here. I can’t forget to mention the bakery! The aroma of freshly baked, mexican goodies hits you before you even get in the door. They have a huge assortment of tasty treats and you can grab a tray, some tongs, and pile it up yourself. My favorite are the little gingerbread pigs. Go check ‘em out.
