Stay away!
I went here once last year, and I never plan on going back. LJS is consistently rated as the most unhealthy of the fast food chains. I’m not surprised either — the food is greasy beyond belief, and far from edible. How they stay open is beyond me. Want fried fish? Go elsewhere.

I may only like this place so much because I have fond memories of it. My dad used to take me here on Friday nights before spending the weekend together. My mom hated it, so it was a father-​daughter cheap date thing. I never liked seafood but I always ordered the chicken and fries meal that comes with 2 hush puppies.
The last reviewer is right, it definitely is NOT health food, but I like it for something cheap, quick, and since I go so rarely, it’s just one of those places that’s «something different.» I really don’t go to any other seafood places so when I go here, it’s nice to have deep fried piece of chicken and bread balls. :-)

One of the better Long John Silver’s I’ve been to. Yes, it is fast food, usually fried. But the food is consistently hot and flavorful. The overall service and customer friendliness at this location has improved markedly over the last 10 years. It’s not health food, but it’s good!
