Well– I noticed that the massage given during the pedicure on feet and legs and the wax treatment for the heels is only provided during the special more expensive pedicures. Boooooo! The girl who massaged my neck after the pedicure just pinched and pinched. I couldn’t wait for it to be over. And the pedicure chairs, I could barely get comfortable. They’re justifying their higher prices by trying to make it look like an upscale place by using these plush velvet chairs– I’m physically fit and could barely get out. The positives are the staff was very nice and professional, courteous and delightful. Not rude and unprofessional like other places nearby(ECCO in MP and Nail Château in Hawthorne are the worst. The owners are just abusive and rude and the employees are not far behind.) The shop was very clean and attractive décor. Overall a better experience than any other place in the neighborhood. I just wish one of these salons could get it all right. There’s one on every corner and they all suck in one way or another!

I nail salon hop, but have been to Isis the most.(now called Sheer Bliss) I love how relaxing the atmosphere is. The pedicure chairs are so cozy and comfortable. Their prices have gone up over the course of my time there(3 – 4 years on and off) but you get what you pay for. My gel manis always last long. Pedicures feel great. The staff has always been very welcoming and the place is so clean. I knocked off a star because I wish they had a bigger selection of colors for gel manis. Also, there have been occasions where I’ve gotten get passed around to multiple people which I hate because I never know who to tip and how much. I get that it gets busy at times, but I noticed that it was actually not busy the times it did happen. so that just gets annoying after a while. Thankfully it has not happened enough for me to not return.

I have only been here for pedicures, and they certainly are enjoyable. They have the best color selection around, which is why I continue to go there. Unfortunately, their prices slowly creep up. I have never paid the same price twice for a pedicure. The first time it was a little more expensive I thought it was because I had gotten french. It started at $ 19, then $ 23, then $ 27. I don’t really understand the increase in price for the exact same service but I will say their pedicure massage with the hot stone is wonderful.

I came here several times for a mani and pedi. The first time everything was okay… just… okay. The second and third time were worse– poorly polished, rushed experience etc etc. The last time was the final straw– they rushed through my pedicure and while I was trying to relax they sent 2 other girls to do my manicure– 1 on each hand. Needless to say my polish job was not good– you cant paint nails sitting sideways in a pedicure chair leaning over a customer. The nails had blatant ‘bald’ spots and when I asked them to fix it they layered a coat on one side of the nail which made the polish uneven. Never going back.
