U-Haul – Middletown

don’t wast your time renting from them they are crooks! fiancé had booked a rental with them a month in advance for a all day friday all day saturday rental as we are moving into an apartment and needed to move our stuff. well the rental we got was a regular pick up truck and fi called to find out if we could switch to a box truck instead which they did no have so he said thats ok ill make do with what you are giving us.
he went on to confirm the rental and the guy on the other end of the line said sorry but you can only have the rental for friday only and not saturday. he asked why and they said its policy that the vehicles only be out for 24 hours at a time who has a stupid policy like that he said your telling me i booked a month in advance and now i only have the rental for one day. rental is for this weekend so now im stuck trying to find someplace to rent me a truck so i can finish moving,? how can your rentals be only for 24 hours when i see uhals being rented and driven across the usa. if i can rent a u hal one way from here to california and drop it off there why cant i rent a uhal to move localy in state for two days that makes no sense.
not to worry we canceled the reservation and found a better place that will let us have the vehicle for the amount of time we need it for
dont waste your time with them they always say they don’t have what your looking for and then to go and switch our reservation on us and tell us one day before we need the truck for friday saturday.
