The restaurant is connected to a mini latin style convenient store. Its a great little place to pick up some odd grocery items you won’t find at Walmart or Kroger. Just one example: apple flavored soda which I love and is very popular in South America. The restaurant side is the best Mexican food place in town. It’s fantastic authentic Mexican food and very large portions at a fair price. I’d love to recommend a specific meal, but I can’t because its all sooo good. My family and friends frequent this place and we’ve never had a bad experience. Now, all that being said, the environment is cheap and terrible. Its a «hole in the wall» place, but the food definitely makes up for it. If you want a fancy fine dining environment, this is not the place, but you’ll be making a mistake because La Raza’s food is way better than any other Mexican place. Free unlimited chips and salsa to start each meal, but make sure you ask for the cheese & bean dip for the chips. It costs extra but is absolutely amazing.
