Taliercio’s Gourmet Deli

I am in the Navy and don’t live in the area. When I come visit family I have to come get a Godfather panini. Goosebumps as I think of it. Food cannot get any better than this. Do your selves a favor and try them out.

Excellent fresh heroes prepared lovingly by a great staff. Highest recommendation when you are in the Middletown NJ area!!!

My family uses Talercios to cater all of our big events. Their chicken talercio is a must have. Today I went in to get a sandwich for lunch, the line was out the door but while we waited to order they sent down a plate of fried raviolis down the line for everyone to have as they waited. Talk about service! Any sandwich they make is great but my personal favorite is the Blazin Buffalo.

We had the buffalo chicks special, honey maple ham special and Vermont cheddar special. The chicken wrap and chicken parmigiana sandwich were also awesome. Great place for a sandwich. Friendly unlike the normal delis. Worth the long wait. They even screwed up our order but the sandwich they did give us was good enough to not even bother going back to correct the error. No busboys to review. Great place

Have used their catering on a few occasions and been to parties catered by them. The food is delicious; at the last party we had everyone raved about it. They are also reasonably priced. If you need a caterer in the area, this is the first place to call.
They also have a deli for lunch with an incredibly large selection of food. Go, you won’t be disappointed.

Food that taste great with a wide variety of choices. Easily the best price in town to eat a great amount of food with friends. Be sure to get a side of fried raviolis in order to get the best experience. You will definitely need a box to go because the sandwiches are colossal. The ronnie special is oh so crucial.

The best Italian deli in central or maybe all of New Jersey in mine and a lot of people’s opinion. During lunch hours the crowd that is lined nearly out the door speaks for how great the place is. They not only have amazing food but they always give you a lot of food for a great price. They pile an $ 8 sandwich so high that you almost can’t even fit your mouth around it. The staff and how at home they make you feel might be the best part of telercios. Everyone that works there is always super nice from the older gentlemen to the young guys that work there they always ask you how you are doing. Whoever made your sandwich will ask you «how was it» almost every time once you finish it and it makes you feel like they care. Not to mention the owner of the place will come around the line passing out free fried raviolis that are to die for. The catering food they do is all also great and good for a few days because of how fresh it is. Great food and an even better experience!

Great Italian food, great sandwiches and great service. They will cater any size party, they serve Boars Head meats and also have a great variety of prepared food. While standing in line, you’re served fried ravioli’s, get to hear the camaraderie of the workers, then enjoy a big arse sandwich. Yeah, that’s right, one of those. Pack up the kids, pack up the belongings and head to Taliercio’s for a meal of meals. Stop cooking and let the folks here do you a solid. Grab a menu, step out of the line if you’ve never been here, as it will move fast any way, pick out what you want, because they’ll have it, and if it’s not on the menu, they’ll make it special just for you.

Food is molto bene and service is even better! We love the Calabrese sub… fresh mozz, ham, bruchetta, and pesto. Also the chicken taliercio melts in your mouth. Guys working there make you feel like home!

Been a customer for over 10 years. Taliercios is one place I go and get something different every time I visit. If there’s a line just be patient it’s worth the wait.
They take good care of the local Fire companies also with their catering. Chicken Taliercio, Chicken Caesar, Penne Vodka, baby lasagna, egg plant rolatini just to name a few items .
I almost forgot about the plate of fried ravioli that sometimes gets passed down the line for a sample.

quick update! IT’S STILL BANGIN, KID. The deserts are straight heat and every time I’m in there I feel welcomed and at home.

As I’m standing in line I’m writing this review. Been here for 15 minutes and none of the 5 kids behind the counter have said a word to us, no exaggeration. The line is 5 deep & one of the kids literally said to his co-​worker «slow down man, there’s only a few people in here.» After standing here for another 10 min and listening to how there friends are obsessed with snap chat and watching the kids behind the counter eat and drink their pepsi’s I’m out.

I have no idea why I never heard of this place until this past weekend. Exactly what I was looking for. A nice authentic Italian deli. The sandwich selection is huge and the sandwiches are even bigger! Very friendly and helpful staff got the orders moving along quickly. Quality cold cuts and love the small selection of authentic (pre-​packaged) cookies and desserts too. Will be back again for sure!

Wow — finally found a proper Italian deli in this area. Lots a action here. Many choices. Hot and cold sandwiches, platters, salads. At least 5 helpful guys hitting the slicers hard pulling together walk up and catering orders alike. Will be back for sure.

I tried Taliercios for the first time during my lunch break. Upon entering, I was slightly overwhelmed by the amount of sandwich/​panini choices. The staff was courteous and patient as made my decision. I went with the Al Pacino panini. While my panini was being made I grabbed some chips and a Stewart’s and another employee offered to ring me up while I waited. They brought me my panini and I headed back to work. I opened the box to find a toasty, cheesy sandwich piled HIGH with meat and bacon. It was exquisite. Just a really good, well made panini with fresh ingredients. It was delicious. I will be back and would recommend this place.
Update: On a more recent visit, I ordered a panini that had bacon included and the picture added was the end result. It was extremely difficult to eat as it was undercooked, stringy and chewy. It was very off putting.

Amazingly huge and good Classic Reuben for only $ 5.95.

I hired Taliercio’s for catering my mom’s 70^th birthday party and people just RAVED about how good the food was. The food was great and so was the price. My cousin is hiring them for an event next month.
WAY TO GO TALIERCIO’S!

Been coming to this place for years.
Giant cartoon sized sandwiches with the works.
Best tuna salad in the area.
Staff is super friendly, helpful, & fast.
Usually a long line during lunch hours so keep that in mind.
Good eats overall.

Used them to cater a repass for about 50 people and they did an excellent job!
All of the food was prepared well, tasted great, and arrived piping hot.
For Italian catering in the area, you cannot beat their prices!
Will use again for parties in the future!

It was my first time here and everything looked amazing! My mom and I decided to split the neat and sloppy sandwich on rye. It was absolutely delicious! While we waited in line to order they passed around fried raviolis for everyone to try and those were so good. I really don’t think you can go wrong! Will be back for sure.
