I wouldn’t have even givin this place a star but I had to… terrible service ordered a steak«medium» came out like a belt! By the time the manager brought it back to the table 20mins later… my family had finished eating by that time what’s the point!!! I will never eat here again staff looks like they need a shower, management seems to be ineffective… Learn how to cook a steak… Defiantly avoid at all cost unless you absolutely can’t get food anywhere(and I do mean anywhere) else…

First time at O Charley’s. Stopped for lunch on way back to Michigan. The pablano chowder was delish!!! Chicken pasta was very good. Restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent! Callie our waitress was very helpfull. The warm rolls came first and were the best I have ever had and was offered seconds! Wish we had this restaurant in our state!

Resorted to eating here for snowed Valentine’s Day dinner because it’s close to home. There were only 5 tables seated in the entire place including us, but still managed to take 45min to receive our food. Took forever to get refills. Waitress never checked on us if we needed anything(no endless dinner rolls like usual). Only good thing was food was ok. They should really do something about the poor customer service.

Terrible wait staff. Food mediocre at best. Had to hunt for server to get the bill, which I begrudged having to pay!

Really bad. Good thing for them I was hungry. I ordered the California chicken salad with spring mix only, no romaine, oil and vinegar dressing. What came out was about 3 leafs of «spring mix» and a bowl full of wilted iceberg lettuce. And most of it was the white stuff not even the green! The oil was more like vegetable oil than olive oil. The bartender server looked at the bowl while I was eating and said«that’s not spring mix, I looked when I brought it out and thought there was spring mix. I promise I put it in the computer for spring mix only.» Needless to say, it’s a good thing I was only passing through because it was awful and I will never return unless out of sheer desperation.

Not a great experience. Steak was cooked to order but was just blah. Gray color and lacked taste. The potatoe was cold and hard like they nuked it but it wasn’t done. Service was OK. Server was very busy but attentive. Rolls were over done server told me that and fresh rolls were on their way. Must have been to someone else’s table they never showed up at mine.

I really wish that i could give a rating of a 0 because this was the worst experience ever. it was under half full when we arrived it took about 10 minutes for someone to come get our drink orders and another 10 before they came out. Our order was taken at the time our drinks came out. 20 minutes pass until someone came to pur table again. No refills, no bread. They tell us they are waiting on one more thing on our order. 20 minutes later they say its just about to come out. Being on a lunch break we tell them we dont have much time to wait and they tell us 5 minutes. We tell them just to bring out the meals in thermos’s. 10 minutes later they come out with thermoss and checks. We pay and leave. We ordered 3 steaks all medium rare and they all came out like beef jerky. Soggy vegetables. And incorrect sides. Terrible service.

Have been coming into this restaurant for years and the food was awesome but now it’s never consistent. The kitchen is clearly getting worse by the day. Either train your staff correctly or get back there and help them. I was in last Tuesday and there was a manger standing with his arms crossed on his iPhone for 45 min. In the mean while, our food came out after about 30 min with raw broccoli and an overlooked steak. Did the manger happen to stop? No! I asked our serve who he was and she said he was the district manager«Jeremy». With a district manager that sits on his phone with his arms crossed and stares at his wait staff its no wonder this store is getting worse by the day. Managers LEAD!!! Get someone who can lead by example and I might be back. But I highly doubt it.

I would give it zero stars if possible. This is the worst managed restaurant in Middletown. We sat for ten minutes before a waitress noticed us looking perturbed and came over. She took our drink order and disappeared. When we said something to the manager about the slow service, he took our dinner order. After he walked away, we never saw him again. When our dinner arrived my fries and rack of baby back ribs were just warm and my wife’s broccoli was raw, it hadn’t even been lightly steamed. We made up our minds right then that we were done with this place. While we sat there, the crowd at the door just kept growing while we counted eight empty tables around us. Four of those weren’t even bussed. Once again, worst restaurant ever!

After 5 minutes of standing waiting at an unattended front desk, while staff who saw us waiting stood around and continued being busy doing nothing at the back, we left. Wasn’t exactly busy either. Won’t be bothering again. It’s OK food, but every time I’ve visited this particular one it’s been average. Try bob evans across the street. Comparably average grub with staff who earn their living.

We wanted a Sunday brunch that wasn’t too far from home and not too expensive, so we decided to try O’Charley’s. Apparently, we beat the After-Church rush by arriving at 11, as the restaurant only had about 4 filled tables. Our server was perky and helpful. When I ordered the Bacon Bloody Mary, she got all excited about how good it is.(It wasn’t bad, and my husband’s Bloody Mary made with whiskey was decent.) We ordered very brunchy items: Classic Eggs Benedict and Chicken and Waffles. My poached eggs were a little underdone, but the hollandaise sauce was great. The chicken was overdone and a bit burned tasting, but nothing a little syrup couldn’t improve. Our bill, post-tip came to $ 44.00, which was more than I would have paid for food of the quality we got. Service was very good though, with a sweet and attentive server and two managers asking us how everything was. And of course… the rolls were piping hot and delicious! But the hunt for an awesome brunch close to home still continues for us.

I am shocked with how bad the other reviews are for this middle of the road chain restaurant. I had dinner tonight(12÷12÷12) with a group of 8 others and the service was prompt and decent. We had a variety of entrees and everyone seemed to enjoy what they got. Not stellar but good, and reasonably priced. I had the«Cajun style» sirloin with a loaded potato and asparagus. The baked potato was very good, the asparagus was OK but nothing special. The steak was prepared medium rare as I requested and pretty tender. Personally more Cajun spices would have been welcome, but I guess people in the mid-west are used to less spicy foods. Had 2 glasses of house merlot — palatable. Overall, yes I would visit again — decent for the price…

I was totally surprised by the negative review about this restaurant. Seriously who doesn’t like more food? And yet you gave them a bad review because they were generous on the portions? Come on now… Interior The locals recommended this restaurant to me, and I am glad I went. The décor of this restaurant is modern and clean with dimmed lights. The restaurant is spacious with decent room in the bar area. The bar has several bigscreen TVs showing sports. Most of the seats in the restaurant are booths. The atmosphere of restaurant is energetic and inviting. Menu Expect items that you can get from Outback or Applebees. You have your appetizers, soup, salad, and entrees emphasized on American favorites such as steak, burgers, and etc. One thing that stands out this most in the menu is the PRICE. Almost every item is cheaper than the same thing you get in other restaurant chains. Food(I will only review on the items I had) I ordered a ribeye steak, medium rare, with creamy chicken noodle soup and fries. The steak was delicious, juicy, perfectly done, and well-seasoned. What is even better is the large portion of the steak. It’s the best $ 15 ribeye steak I had anywhere outside of Texas in terms of size and flavors. About the chicken soup, there was definitely more chicken than soup, which was satisfying to me. The fries. they are just fries. Beverages They do have a drink menu that much resembles that of Chili’s. You have some mix drinks and margaritas. I didn’t care for any at the time, so I will not judge on the drinks. However, their draft selection was pretty limited. The best beer was Amber Bock. But if you are a bud lite fan, you can get a pint for real cheap. Service The bar waiter I had was friendly and attentive. I got refills on beverages frequently. The food was brought out very quickly, which is awesome for impatient or hungry customers like me. The bartender was nice and seemed like he knew the drinks fairly well. Overall This is a great neighborhood joint in Middletown OH where nothing is really happening. I would recommend this place for any family/friend hangouts or for casual dinner that’s just delicious.

Like TGI Friday’s at it’s worst. -$ 3 weak margaritas –you get never ending buttery bread –I ordered a chicken salad. Thank goodness I asked for dressing on the side. Oh, and it was more fried chicken that salad. –Wife order chicken tenders. She got 6HUGE tenders, a salad, and 2 huge scoops of mashed potatoes made with buttermilk. It’s any wonder why everyone in Cinncy was on the larger side… if they all eat like this. Really really disgusting. But it was w/in walking distance of the hotel and we were out in the sun all day about to collapse. So I guess it did the job. Though I think I would have rather hit up Olive Garden across the street if I was going to consume that many calories!
