Michelle’s Nail Salon

I don’t care what anyone else says– this is the only place that I’ll go for manicures and pedicures. The people are all incredibly nice and the prices are great. I would highly recommend making an appointment because I find that they get really busy at random times. I’ve never had to wait after making an appointment, so now I make one no matter what time or day I plan on going.
The salon is very clean and I can’t stress enough how great the girls are; even the owner Michelle is very nice and personable when she’s there. The parking can be a bit of a pain but there are always plenty of spots around back so that’s not even a real issue. They do such a great job and even include a back rub with manicures and leg massage with standard pedicures. If you feel like spending a little more, the spa pedicure is divine and the callus removal is a great service. All in all it’s a great place!

This salon has cheap deals and there’s a reason for it. They have some of the sloppiest and worst work ever. I’ve been here about 5 times just to give them the benefit of doubt but to no avail, each experience was worst than the previous. My pedicure which was $ 25 was very rushed and impersonal. The technician trimmed so much off of my cuticle that my poor toes were sore when I left. My gel manicure was nice but I accidentally smudged a finger when going to the drying station and I told the technician and she huffed then rolled her eyes before she went to fix it. I was shocked by the reaction that she had. Another time I went to get my eyebrows waxed and the wax was so hot that it burned the skin around my brows and it took about a week for it to fully heal. The owner Michelle did my nails once and they were very mediocre plus she taxes the tip if you use a credit/​debit card. I much prefer Crystal Nail and Spa in Cromwell.

You really can’t beat the prices but… when i went in i had to wait 20minutes before they asked me to come back because they were very busy. I don’t mind waiting but when you wait 20mins and then tell me to come because it will be another hour or so doesn’t make sense to me. They really should of said that when i walked in.
