Lagana Florists

Getting married in Middletown next October and called a few weeks back to schedule a consultation for yesterday morning. After having a nice conversation with the owner (except that he basically told us the place we decided to get married in was «Average and OK», he stated if there were any issues, he would call ahead of time to reschedule. We live in NYC and told him we were coming all the way to Middletown for 2 morning appointments and to please let us know if the time didn’t work so we could reschedule. No phone calls so we assumed we were on, as when we tried to confirm the phone just rang and there is no option for a voicemail.
… and there we were 9am yesterday morning sitting in the parking lot with the shop closed and no sign of the owner… we called numerous times and after 30 minutes of waiting in our car, we left. Needless to say, we will be spending our money elsewhere. Our 10am consultation with another florist in town, was wonderful! Already signed the contract with her.
