My dad loves this place. Despite the location it’s got great food, prices, and staff.

This little place packs in a lot of heart. I went on a saturday-the place was packed but we go seating right away. Our waitress did a great job of getting us our drinks fast and quick while we looked over the menu. The coffee was good(I like a diner with good coffee). We ordered chocolate chip pancakes, home fries, bacon, and the eggs benedict meal. Everything was so good. I had to take my left over pancakes home they were the size of the plates they came on. We were able to talk to one of the owners who was so nice-I told her how glad we were finally to be able to drive out to try the place. On Facebook they always post pictures of their fresh baked deserts, we got a slice of Coconut Cream Pie to take home. It was good and I made it last two servings. The only downside is this place is cash only-however next door is a bank. So if your up for a little weekend breakfast place I’d highly recommend coming to Kuppy’s.

I was in Hershey this past weekend and stayed with my boyfriend’s cousin in Middletown. Before we left town yesterday, we all went to breakfast at Kuppy’s! I told the others about my favorite diner back home, the Summit Diner, and they said they had just the place for me. Kuppy’s is small, yes, but it adds to that«greasy spoon,» small-town diner feel that I love. Everyone there knew my boyfriend’s cousin & her husband by name, and they greeted us all with a smile and hello as soon as we walked in the door. Service was wonderful and SO quick! Sticking with my typical breakfast obsession, I ordered the Eggs Benedict and was not disappointed. The Canadian bacon was a little thicker than normal but I actually preferred it this way! The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was delish. I only took a few tiny bites of my homefries because I was already pretty full, but they were yummy too! My boyfriend ordered a breakfast special that consisted of 2 eggs, bacon and pancakes… I managed to grab a bite of one of his pancakes and they were on par with some of the best ones I’ve ever had! Light and fluffy… not to mention a little sweet on their own. They almost don’t even need syrup! I’ll definitely stop back through Kuppy’s if I’m in town again. You can’t beat it, the prices are great and the food is delicious! Note: as other Unilocalers have noted, it is CASHONLY. There is a Citizen’s Bank ATM right next door though :)

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Now I have grown kids of my own. We are still coming here and everyone loves it. Kuppy’s has always had great food, served fast and hot with a smile.

Very disappointing. I’ve given this place a chance three times now. The food is mostly bland but it is filling. If that’s your thing then this is the place for you. First time was for chicken pot pie. It was a bland plate of gravy, noodles, and a small amount of chicken. My glass of water was a small, dirty looking, off colored plastic cup. Second time I forget. Third time was roast turkey and all the trimmings. Again, very bland and disappointing. Dried turkey(even though it was all dark meat, which is difficult to overcook), a terrible portion of stuffing, and same sad cup of water. Service was poor to middling each time. Cash only. If in Middletown, my suggestion would be to go to the Brownstone. Better food. Better service. Better cups of water.

Good diner. Excellent food, good, yet quick too. Pleasant but not overly chatty waitress. Good menu choices, reasonable prices.

The food here is amazing. It feels so home made and delicious. The family who owns the place is always nice and welcoming. I have a girlfriend who lived in Middletown while she was going to Penn State Harrisburg and everytime I came to visit we would go to Kuppy’s for breakfast. It is excellent. The atmosphere is great and I don’t know what all the negative reviews are about but this place is just awesome. Were planning a drive down there for the weekend with some friends and Kuppy’s is our first stop. Try the Eggs Benedict!

Gave it 2 tries. The first time service was good but the food was DISGUSTING. This isnt diner food. This is «I dont care if I kill every one of my patrons taste pallets by drowning all our food with grease». Seriously I am a clean plate kind of gal but my pancakes/sausage/homefries breakfast was literally inedible. I like greasy breakfast, but this was just inedible. 2nd time went in for lunch. I ordered an iced tea and my friend a coffee. We received a water and a soda and then NEVER came back!!! When she finally did I told her about the tea and she made the worst face at me! She asked if we were ready to order and we said no, paid for my «soda» and left.

I ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich. I cut the sandwich in half. 1st half was good but… The second half of the sandwich was not fully cooked at all. I could not taste the chicken because of the cheese and sauce. It was raw… pink.

Great food, I had the cheeseburger sub and macaroni and cheese, nice home made macaroni. My daughters kids meal was the perfect portion size, which is hard to find these days. No free refills on sodas though. Great peanut butter pie. I will be coming back.

Want to step back in time? Try Kuppy’s. The food is standard diner food, delicious mostly because of the amount of mayonaise. This tiny diner takes cash only.

Discovered this place by accident when I first moved up here. It is located within walking distance from the train station that gives sight seeing tours. If I remember correctly this place was opened in the 1920’s and still has it original feel, which is nice. Kuppy’s food is great. I can say that out of all the times that I have been there I haven’t had a bad meal and the prices are reasonable. Just keep in mind that it is a tiny place. They have booth seating and counter seating. So I always try to make it there either before or after the lunch rush and have never had a problem with seating. BTW, they are a cash only establishment!

This is a tiny diner with a true«diner» feel. I enjoy breakfast there and have never been disappointed. It is always full of patrons, and with the tables so close, you feel like you’re eating with family.
