I purchased a few Villeroy and Boch item from this company in 2012 and was pleased with the transaction. Unfortunately one item arrived damaged. However, in my communications with Chris Widener(I assume it’s his web site) the damaged item was promptly replaced. Fast forward to this week, I attempted to place another, rather comparatively large order of Villeroy and Boch items with . In the process I encountered a problem requiring assistance. I placed calls(3 – 4) to the toll free number and left VM msgs, I filed 4 inquiries via the online contact us method, I sent an email to the direct email address I saved from my 2012 communication and lastly I called the local number listed on the web site, which rings several times and then rolls to a voice mailbox that is full. It’s clear there are now issues with this online business that warrant investigation for possible fraud based on the multiple negative reviews I now see on Unilocal.Meanwhile, I opted to shop elsewhere and found has an excellent promotion running through 12÷22÷15. So my business was given to a more reputable company.

If there would be anything less than 1 star, I would definitely give them that. I should’ve read reviews on Unilocal,but I didn’t. Ordered dinnerware set on July 17th, still haven’t received anything and today is August 6. Tried to contact the Customer Service, no answer, always sends to the voice mail and if you leave a voicemail they do not return any calls. Emailed multiple time, no response as well. But… they charged my Amex and PayPal account(I am glad that i did not paid straight from my bank account), and now I am disputing the charges. What a headache!!! Do not use this company. I ordered the same items from Macy’s, again European dinnerware set and it’s already arrived, for the cheaper price. Save yourself a headache and protect your money people.

Horrible customer service! I ordered 5 plates — 3 dinner, 2 salad — to complete my set. Instead Dinnerware Etc shipped me 5 dinner plates. I contacted them and was told they would ship the missing 2 salad plates at no charge. A month went by – no salad plates. I contacted them AGAIN and was again told they would ship the missing 2 salad plates. A month went by – no salad plates. This cycle has continued for 1 ½ years. And now my plates are discontinued and unavailable. I have been contacting customer service for a credit to my credit card for the plates I never received — nothing. Terrible experience.

Placed an order on 4 – 1, started looking for it 4 – 15. Customer service number is always full and you cannot get a human. Use the contact form online. They said they would ship 4 – 23, it didn’t, then they said it would ship 4 – 24 or 25. Cancelled my order 4 – 28. they shipped and billed it anyway on 5 – 5. Contacted again on 5 – 5 and they said they would credit my account when I returned the items. I asked for a shipping label which they did not provide when I returned the items they did not credit my account now I am dealing with a dispute through mu credit card company. DONOTUSETHISCOMPANY!!!

Where in the world are my plates!!! Put the order in online. Called their Customer Service Number days later, voice mail was full. Did get a human on the other line when I called their sales. He took my name and order number and said he would pass it on to customer service. But, because he was in sales, he had no way of checking on my order status. Received an email saying that my order was shipped, complete with UPS tracking number. I clicked on the link and discovered that it’s final destination was Mettawa, IL. I’m in San Francisco! Emailed them to ask why the final destination was Mettawa, IL. I get an automated reply with a password so I could register on their help desk so that I could check on the status of my order. I keep getting an error message. Repeatedly. After many careful attempts at registering. Really now … I just want to know if I’m ever going to get my plates!!!

Solid experience with dinnerwareetc. Had a hard time finding the china I wanted until I found this site. I had a good customer service experience as I had to call to confirm a question on my order after I had placed it. We don’t order or own a lot of china but I will order again from these guys should the need arise.

What a frustrating experience!!! These people are rude and very unprofessional. They are reselling items they do not have in stock, and half of my bridal shower gifts have yet to show up, 3 months out. DONOTORDERFROMTHEM.
