i never thought I would be reviewing a liquor store, but when the customer service is so poor… What do you expect? The guy at the counter had the biggest stink eye on the face of the earth… and acted like it was an major inconvenience to ring us up. so i will just go down the street the next time i want to buy a bottle and get obliterated drunk, happy holidays!

Truly hit or miss here.
Sometimes you get great service, sometimes you walk up to the counter and all the employees are talking to each other and it takes a minute or two to before you get noticed.
Or like the time I went in before Christmas to get several bottles of the wine I was planning to serve at Christmas dinner, Sterling Cabernet. Pretty mainstream wine. I looked where it is normally stocked, can’t find it. Ask one of the older men who work there (I take him to be a manager or owner) and he says its discontinued, they don’t have it anymore. Another woman employee overhears us and says it’s in the other wine room, he tells her it’s not in a very dismissive way. Well, I ended up finding it right where it usually was, I had just missed it the first time I looked. When I went in today, there were several cases of it in the wine room, so the woman was right. Know what you’re taking about before you tell a customer something. You ARE trying to make a sale, I would think?
Their prices are also usually quite high. I generally go to some of the smaller stores in town, who have more competitive pricing. I tend to go to Beverage Mart only when I need more specialized items or when I need to buy for a party and just want the ease of getting everything I need in one place.

The manager told my husband and I put to our beer down at the register 2
Minutes before closing and made us leave. Another employee had just warned us as we were walking up to the register that we had three minutes left.
Not only is the communication in this store ineffective bit the customer
Service is terrible. We will certainly find another business who is more accommodating and polite to their customers.

They have a HUGE selection of alcohol (ranging from wine coolers to beers to liquor, etc). The place is super spacious and we found everything we were looking for and then some. We were specifically looking for this one blueberry beer brand, and they had it.
As a bonus, we ended up buying «test tube shots» and cans of Four Loko «just because» along with all of our other alcohol (mind you, all of this was for 2 people).
The cashier was really friendly and also asked us if we wanted refrigerated versions of the test tube shots we bought.
I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for something very specific. They will most likely carry it.

drove by this place every day and never stopped in. and then one day it was an emergency and i needed some rum. good selection of microbrews and import beers too. place is HUGE. definitely will be back, also they had a decent selection of pint glasses and funky sam adams cups etc.
