Country Sudser Car Wash of Middletown

I am a somewhat regular customer of this car wash and over the last few visits I have been somewhat disappointed. The guys in the back who vacuum did a terrible job I didn’t even think they vacuumed at all! I asked one of the guys in the front and he simply told me «they did it in the back» as he turned his back and went on to the next car. The girl who works in the front approached me and asked me what my problem was… when I pointed out to her that my carpets and mats still were filthy she apologized and immediately grabbed the shopvac in the front and did an awesome job on my floors. Not only that but she also did an amazing job on my cup holders, dash, and every inch of my interior was spotless thanks to her. She took her time and basically detailed my car for me I couldn’t believe how great of a job she did. Not only did she clean my car extremely well and thoroughly but she was also very sweet and friendly… she made great conversation as she was cleaning my car. This girl is the only reason I am giving them three stars and also the only reason I will continue to go there. I asked her name and I believe she said it was Melissa. If you go there look for the tall friendly girl out front and make sure she gets to clean the inside of your car you will not be disappointed! I felt bad she had to clean up after he rest of the guys laziness but she truly didn’t seem to mind and also seemed more than happy to go out of her way to help.

This place has really gone downhill. The last time I was there was the last time I will go there. Didn’t vacuum the back of the truck, I paid for platinum, the guy in the front tells me it’s $ 2 extra. When I’m paying for platinum I expect a vacuum, if they want the extra $ 2 tell me before I go inside. I wound up grabbing a small shop vac they had outside and did it myself. Tires were not done, and whatever they had on their dirty rags left a film on the inside of my windshield had to clean it myself again. Was planning on using the detail shop there, but not now.

I used to praise this car wash to friends but the last few times I’ve been very disappointed. The guys that dry the car and clean the inside once the car comes through the auto wash don’t fully dry the car. My issue is I tip every time prior to completion of the $ 22 Platinum service. When I mentioned it to the guys that the car is still wet, they usually spot dry it where the car is still wet.
My issue is that as a car wash customer the job should be completed and I should not have to inspect my car. I’m not paying close to $ 25 each time for an automatic car wash that is under $ 10 down the street. Over priced! I’m boycotting this place!

This place doesn’t even deserve a star but it’s the lowest I can give. My car is never clean at this place every package I get the grill on the front and the back door is always still filled with dirt. The gold package is $ 20 and it’s not clean i mean come on that’s horse shit! The $ 5 car wash I drove through makes sure it’s super clean.

I bought the PLATINUM car wash for $ 22 plus tax plus tip. Never washed the tires like I paid extra for, they did not vacuum the center cup holder, under the mats or the edges. I had to wait for the manager to come back. He took out a Shop Vac to complete the job himself. He should have have the lazy workers do it properly. No other attempts at customer service was offered. Country Sudser used to be a premium service provider, but no longer. The woman working inside is the nice thing about the place .

Worst customer service in a long time. If I could give it no stars, I would.
I pull in to the lot, and ask a gentleman if he works here. The guy gives me a look like I’m stupid for asking. I needed to know if they do a de-​greasing powerwash on the undercarriage of the car, and all he can do is direct me to a sign.
The next gentleman I see, proceeds to tell me they do a wash, but its not a powerwash. The sign that they directed me to, was so far in the lot, that I was now blocked in by another vehicle, and the alternate exit was blocked off conveniently by a parked car.
The man working, now forced me to pay $ 12 plus tax for a service I didn’t want. And in top of that, his towel people gave me stink eyes and wanted tips for doing next to nothing. The only person in there who was friendly was the woman working the register.
Everyone else in this place can go pound sand.

I was just at this place on Saturday 2/​28, paid $ 22.00 for the worst wash that I have ever received from here. The entire side of my car was streaked. As I watched the workers none of my windows were wiped down in the interior, something that I paid for, as well as the tire sealant/​protector also was not applied.
When I tried to speak to the workers that were actually doing the work they spoke no English. I don’t know how this company can employ people that are working in a position that deals with the public that speaks no English. It’s just another way this company shows their inability to
Provide top notch customer care.
Granted they were quite busy and I fully emphasized with their issue. However, when I addressed their manager to voice my concerns and he responded with nothing less then pure sarcasm «what do you expect we’re busy» turns his back on me while I was speaking to him and walks away.
That to me is the ultimate form of disrespect a business can show to a customer. His blatant contempt by ignoring me and my concerns makes me go elsewhere to a company that truly knows how to address their customers concerns.
After I left here I drove down to another company, paid $ 31 for a job that was truly unbelievable. The workers address each and every concern, spoke perfect English and they even inquired if there was anything else I needed done to my car.

Went on a Saturday afternoon, there was not much of a wait. Requested the platinum wash package and after all was said and done, basically nothing was washed on the inside of my car except for the front mats. It looked like they didn’t even vacuum the back mats and left them on my back seats! Seriously? My seats were not vacuumed and the whole center console was untouched. In the platinum package, a tire cleaning is supposed to be included. My rims were still filthy after! You couldn’t pay me to come back, complete waste of money and time. The staff was just as unpleasant as my car was dirty.

Nice carwash, but rude staff!

Damaged the rims in my 2009 Jaguar XF-​SC. They are a low profile tire & rim combo from the factory, particular to this type of car. At this point it just looks like superficial damage to the paint/​coating. Nevertheless, it will cost me about $ 125 per wheel to have the two refinished that were damaged. If you value your car then avoid this car wash.

Most car washes are pretty much the same in regards to the actual wash itself. What separates the different places is how well the workers vacuum/​clean the interior and how well they dry and touch up your car. This place does a decent to good job of both on a consistent basis. Basic wash runs from about $ 10 and goes up to $ 22 for a deluxe wash with wax, tire dress etc.
There is an independent detail shop in the back that does pretty goo work also
