Delicious food! Super friendly staff! First time eating here was a great experience! They threw in some extras to try! Ribs were amazing! Very tasty and sweet sauce. The jalapeño cornbread had a nice kick. My wife loves the quartered chicken. Sweet skin and sauce on the chicken. I would order the same thing again tomorrow for breakfast and lunch and dinner!!!

Good brisket barbq — their sauce is a bit on the sweeter side, which I liked. The sides are smallish, but a decent amount of food is given. Little patio was perfect for a nice night dinner with a friend.

Still haven’t gotten the ribs, because they go so fast, but everything I have had is delicious

We have never been disappointed with the service or the food it is always great and love the décor would recommend to anyone they also have take out or eat in when it warmer weather you can also sit out on the patio

Great BBQ for a reasonable price! I just stopped by to get takeout. This isn’t a fast food restaurant but boy did I receive my food pretty quick! They have great customer service.
I love the set up on the inside. It’s like a cute little family oriented restaurant with memorabilia and super interesting collectors items all over. Even if you had too wait a little for your food you wouldn’t get bored just sitting there.

Honestly, it was just okay. Not a lot to choose from when it comes to sauces, though the brisket was delicious. The mac and cheese and coleslaw weren’t anything to write home about. A cool place to grab a bite if you’re not trying to spend a chunk of change, but I don’t think it’s the prized jewel of Middletown.

To me at least the best ribs and sauce in SW Ohio — I am a huge Montgomery Inn fan but we love Combs BBQ just as much. Always get the full slab with potato salad and green beans and it is very good. Sauce is dripping, not too tangy and eat half a slab and save the rest for the next day. Not very expensive… I think you pay about $ 15 per person for a dinner meal. We also get it to go because the place itself isnt huge and not a lot of room to sit. They do have outdoor seating. Highly recommend to anyone. Great place to enjoy great BBQ

Phenomenal BBQ. Great service. Highly recommend the Brisket. The staff were very friendly and three different types of BBQ sauce were delicious. My favorite was the smoked sauce. Very good choices in sides. Mac and cheese was very good. Excellent sweet tea.

Love, love, love combs bbq! You must try everything on the menu! They offer carry out, have a nice outdoor patio. The service is always great, staff is friendly & professional. They have a nice selection of beer (nothing not tap) but do carry some IPAs and wine and naturally soda and water! The prices are very reasonable and you tell it’s all fresh! Best bbq I’ve ever had! Take all my friends and they also rave about how good they are!

had the half rack of ribs w/​beans and jalapeño corn bread. let me say that for ambiance this place is terrific. you should come on in. But! personally i like more smoke. the ribs were done well but lacked flavor in my estimation. i have some definite preferences and don’t want to be unfair. the Carolina style sauce was very good. i thought the others were too sweet. jalapeño corn bread was good. beans were plain. they have beer and wine. if your in the neighborhood you should try it.

Went for lunch… ordered the brisket sandwich but took one look and switched with my hubby. I liked the pulled pork sandwich but the brisket is not appeal to me. My husband was ok with it …

A great BBQ restaurant in town! The atmosphere was great with older pictures of local landmark’s. The service was fast and as we ate the main dining room filled. The food was AMAZING. Can’t wait to go back.

We had the pulled pork, mac and cheese, green beans, jalapeño cornbread, and local beer from Cincy. I believe the meat is local, too, which makes this spot even better.

I am soooo happy to have this family owned restaurant in Middletown. Great spot to have a beer on the patio and the food is amazing!!! I used to live in Memphis and love BBQ. and this place compares to some of the best!
Ribs are best in the Cincy/​Dayton area… I challenge you to try them and compare them to Montgomery Inn! Brisket and pulled pork are yummy too… try the pulled pork nachos with jalapeños! There are usually different chicken specials and very reasonably priced…(like $ 1.50 or something for 1 leg)…so if they have jumbo wings or legs… GET ONE… they cook them in the smoker so they are crispy and flavorful on the outside and juicy on the inside. As far as sides go, I like the southern style green beans, cole slaw and jalapeño corn bread.
The atmosphere is cool… lots of guitars and neon signs. Friendly and laid back spot unlike any in the area! Highly recommended.

I’m a big fan of this place. The brisket is my favorite. Wide loves their pork nachos. Want something smaller? Get the pork slaw hot dog. Baked beans and cole slaw are perfect. Tip: if you want to try the 3 sauces available at the take your have to be very clear you want it without sauce.

Excellent pulled pork. I was in town for a soccer tournament and was looking for a good local Reaturant. Small place but worth the trip.

Excellent friendly service. Huge portion at a reasonable price. It’s quite the gem for Middletucky.

I ordered the pull pork. It was tender and delicious. The restaurant reminds me of southern restaurants. A definite recommendation

I was really impressed with how great the food was. I had the pulled pork with macaroni and cheese. The size of the portions were great and I absolutely loved their barbecue sauces. I would definitely recommend this place to friends!
