Great service, staff and nails come out great all the time… I found my new regular spot for mani/​pedi!

I rarely leave reviews but the facial I got here is still affecting my face. Julie was very nice and did a lot of extractions which was good. However, she was really insistent that I get a couple chin hairs threaded. I said I didn’t want to but she kind of shamed me into agreeing. Then instead of just threading a couple she threaded all of them, even the light, barely noticeable blond ones. For two months I had tiny skin colored bumps all over my chin. Despite never having bad acne, all these dots have now turned into pimples. I came here because of the great Unilocal reviews. It also makes me nervous that a negative review on here was recently deleted. Maybe I just have really sensitive skin but I felt like she didn’t really listen to me.

So this skin care place is just the back of a nail salon!
I’m baffled by the positive reviews on Unilocal.I’ve had regular facials for 8 years, no exaggeration, this was not a facial… It was abuse!
There was no flow, I felt like her hands were randomly on my skin like hail falling from the sky. She used the lancet way to much. I walked out looking really red and bumpy. She couldn’t give me a receipt and she asked me to review her on Unilocal!
I was really hoping that this would work because I live near by.
Oh well I’ll keep looking.

I highly recommend Julie’s. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve never had a shellac manicure last so long and still look good. I can go at least 3 ½ weeks between appointments. A great place!

Julie is the best! If you live in the area you have to try her salon. She and her staff are the best! Please give it a try. Her prices are reasonable too. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

I went to Julie for a facial for the first time yesterday and I was very impressed with her. I haven’t had a facial in a while so I was looking for noticeable results. I was hesitant when I first walked in thinking this was more of a really nice nail salon. Julie was genuine and knowing that she had an advanced license in esthetics was reassuring. She did a microdermabrasion and addressed my concerns. I left feeling refreshed with a brighter completion. Today my skin looks beautiful and I can totally see results. I am very happy that I found an esthetician that I trust and I don’t have to go to Bella Sante anymore.

I have lived in this area for a long time and today was my first time at Julie’s. Boy do I regret how many times I have passed this salon. I had the best mani/​pedi I have had in years by Ha who spent particular attention to my cuticles and the massage (my two favorite parts, the Polish is just a bonus) forget the salon you currently go to and check this place out! You will be thanking me, and Unilocal of course

Love this Salon… The staff is so nice. The salon is very clean. You will get the best Pedi Ever. Never rushed even if you close the place! You are treated like a queen and the way the salon is set up would be awesome for a girls night out or a wedding party.

Julie’s Advanced Skin Care Spa & Nails not only provides superior services, but also has a relaxing and clean atmosphere. It truly is a sanctuary. The positive energy is unsurpassed. I have been going to Julie’s for years upon years. I will not go any where else to get my nails done or eyebrows waxed! The owner, Julie, is dedicated to good service and creating the calm and kind atmosphere that I have previously stated. Perfect service, in perfect relaxation!

My mom and I both got facials yesterday and they were awesome! Today my face feels and looks great. It was so relaxing and the prices were good! I can’t wait to try out another service next time I go!

Received signature series gift certificate for Christmas from my husband — best 3.5 hours spent for this busy working momma! Relaxing facial and massage, perfect mani/​pedi. The salon is impeccably clean, and Julie and her girls are sweet as can be. Highly highly recommend for any occasion and will definitely be asking for another certificate for my birthday!!!

I have been going here since it opened and i wouldn’t trust anybody eles’s services over the staff at Julies. I get manicures and pedicures which are flawless and the skin treatments are devine. Not only is the staff great, but the salon is impeccible. Clean, organized roomy and comfortable. There is not a negative thing that could be said about this salon, there is plenty of parking too, and it’s not in a crowded mall situation. Julie runs the salon with pride and it shows. Go once and you’ll return once you get a taste of how a salon should be, varied services and products, clean and sterile epuipment and friendly service.

I had a manicure and pedicure here and it came out perfect! The staff was very friendly and the place is really pretty. I have been here several times to get my eyebrows done and always leave with them looking great. Julie really is a perfectionist and spends as much time as needed to make sure her work comes out great.

Julie is a perfectionist and her spa and everything about her and her services show it. Last year Julie transformed my eyebrows by giving me a modern shape that instantly brightened my face and I’m still going back. Getting your eyebrows shaped professionally is an inexpensive way to freshen your look and I highly recommend Julie’s for this service. Aside from eyebrow shaping I have also had microdermabrasion and nail services. I have had my toes done everywhere from Newbury St. to the Square One Mall but Julie’s is by far the cleanest place I have gone to. Julie’s prices are similar to the Red Persimmon and other nail salons but her facility and equipment are brand new and her spa is organized and spotless.
So I can vouch for great waxing services (she uses soy wax) and nail services but Julie’s true passion is skincare. I’m in my early twenties so I’m not necessarily a prime candidate for micro-​derm but I tried it because I had some skin issues and sun damage. Julie worked on me for a little over an hour and during the session she treated each and every flaw and blemish I had. What I appreciated most is that she didn’t just provide the service I paid for and let me loose… she preformed the abrasion but also explained what caused the imperfections and treated them or recommended a solution/​product to help prevent further issues or damage. It was obvious to me that she was not only knowledgeable but that she genuinely cared about my skin looking it’s best and my being happy with it.
Another thing that pleasantly surprised me was that she has had or tried every service and product she provides. She tries it and if she does not believe in it or stand behind it 110% she will not use it or sell it. For instance, Julie was carrying RevitaLash before it was at every beauty boutique and in every magazine… I know because I purchased it from her over a year ago and although I use it on and off I have seen a definite difference in the length and fullness of my lashes. Now I trust buying anything from her if she thinks it would benefit me.
Oh also, I recommend calling ahead and making an appointment. Julie’s is a small team of three lovely ladies… quality over quantity!
