There are several reasons why after my first visit to Essex Wax it is now going to be my go to for waxing.
1. Susan owns her own business, not an easy thing to do. I like supporting local businesses.
2. She is also nice!
3. She has incentives for people who are repeat customers. I got frustrated with the last salon I went to because that did not do much to encourage me to go back. Most salons that I’ve been to have reward programs or discounts for repeating customer. Example 7 waxes get the 8th free or something. Susan offers discounts for certain waxes.
4. She has done the BEST eyebrow wax that I’ve gotten in Madison. I’m a pretty picky person, and it has taken me over 2 years to finally find someone I trust. I mean come on it’s my face! I have the right to be picky.
5. She is good at what she does!

Suzie has been waxing my brows for nearly a decade. She’s delightful, upbeat, and always professional. I really like the online scheduling system. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. Parking is ample and right next door. Her work is always to my liking as she ensures every time that I am satisfied.

Had to call for an appointment because the online scheduler wouldn’t work. When I got there I called her and she said she left a voicemail (not even an hour prior) that she had to cancel to go pick up her kid. It was going to be my first time going there also. I didn’t even get my foot in the door and I would never go there. Go to Le Spa!!!

I used to get my eyebrows threaded but will never go back to that after visiting Suzie at Essex. The waxing was quick, relaxed, and as pain-​free as it gets. My eyebrows look fantastic and I would highly recommend her.

Suzie is a GREAT waxer. I’ve been getting Brazilians from her for a while now. She’s professional, efficient and very friendly! I also like that she has a lower rate for returning customers — not a lot of places offer that. If you want a great wax that won’t break your purse, Essex is the place!
