I used Badger Key to rekey the locks for an eviction. He was on time (a few minutes early), and rekeyed the locks fast. Very thorough too. He made the appointment outside of their regular business hours. Reasonably priced.

I’ve tried to use them twice for locksmith services, and both times I was told they had no one available. The first time (Winter 2013) I was spoken to very rudely and was told to call the local police for help. The only apology given was to my boyfriend when he called them back to see why they weren’t coming.
The second time I locked my keys in the car right in front of their business and was told no locksmith was going to be available until late afternoon, again was told to call the police where the nicest officer was able to help.
I will under no circumstances whatsoever give them my business. I and the greater Madison area deserve better.

I’m very pleased with my recent experience with Badger Key and Security. I’m a retired gal living in a condo and had problems with locking and unlocking both my doors over the past month. I was nervous about the cost and my lack of knowledge of what was needed. I got great patient answers to my questions, and when Badger Key came out the repair and replacement (for one lock) was done quickly, competently and reasonably in price. Don’t use anyone else!
