The most notable thing about Pelancho’s is the décor — it is really impressive and adds a lot to the atmosphere. I’ve visited several times with my parents and the service has been fast and friendly. Menu is pretty standard. I notice that Pelancho’s is in the«inexpensive» category while La Esperanza(another Mexican restaurant nearby) is in the«moderate» category and I’m pretty sure this is an error — I can’t compare the menus side by side since Pelancho’s doesn’t have a website, but I believe their prices are comparable.

Pretty good Mexican fare. This town is smothered with Mexican Restaurants. Even though food was okay, several orders in our party of 20 were wrong. Attempts were made to correct them, but the language barrier was sooo HUGE, that the staff just never got it. «Was kinda aggravating!» We were also kinda late arriving & the last table to leave. The staff literally sat down @ the table next to us & starred @ us until we left, which I felt was VERY unprofessional, considering we were gone within 15 minutes of posted closing time. Had it not been for those 2 issues I would have given 4 stars? Restaurant was clean.

We catered from Pelnacho’s for 40 people. It was ONLY $ 200 for 40 people($ 5 per person)! That is dirt cheap. They gave us soooooo much food it could have fed 50 – 55 people. I’m not kididng, it was so much food it completely filled up my Civic. The service is outstanding! Our food was ready upon arrival. They loaded my car for me and put huge plastic bags underneath the pans in case it spilled. I thought the food overall was average and that’s why I didn’t give them five stars. Nothing too great, but not horrible either. They have wifi and LMU students get 15% off! They have sooo much space inside, so you can bring huge groups and won’t have to worry about it being too crowded.

The best, most delicate Chili Rellēnos, ever!!! The Chimichanga was VG. Rice was OK. VG Salsa Roho & Salsa Verde. Chips were warm & crunchy. Service was great. Only reason we didn’t give them a «5» was because we like Papa’s & Beer better, but it’s an hour away.

I have been to a lot of Mexican places, but this was the worst. I had fajitas for $ 14 and the chicken was tough, the meat came in a square uncut like the chicken and was also tough. On top of this the waiter was rude. Not a good business model. Never again. …

The food is average. But it’s good! Apparently it’s a dry county or something because we ordered food and thought a beer and margarita would be great then they said THEYDONOTHAVEALCOHOL! Not cool! After hiking the Cumberland Gap it sounded perfect. Ughhhhhhh

We were trying to avoid chain restaurants and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious, fresh food. Generous portions and friendly service in a colorful happy, clean setting. The queso fundido with beef & chicken was amazing with warm tortillas. Everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend this as a stop if you are passing through. We stopped in after visiting the nearby Cumberland Gap and hiking in Daniel Boone’s footsteps.

Good service, complimentary tasty salsa and warm chips. We both had the vegetarian chimichanga platter which came with rice, salad with pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. Very filling and good. We will come back when visiting my daughter. It’s a good place to go to amid the fast food choices here. The interior and brightly painted wooden furniture give a festive feel.

Amazing amazing restaurant ambiance, that was the first thing that attracted my attention. The hotel has beautiful wall paintings and the customer service team welcomes every person with a big smile on their faces. At first we did not like the table location that we had, but when we mentioned it to the waiter, she immediately changed the location for us to something that we preferred. The appetizer corn chips that we were survey first were absolutely delicious and freshly done! The salsa sources were also amazing! Our group of five all ordered different meals but I particularly enjoyed the chicken fajitas that one of my team members had. There was plenty of food for everyone and we even had some to go. Moreso, I had the fried ice cream desert for the first time and it was absolutely phenomenal! They also had a 15% student discount which we all enjoyed. I will definitely plan to visit this hotel again the near future!

The staff here were absolutely lovely; they were so friendly and helpful. The interior was also very adorable with many murals and a homey ambiance. The food was also delicious. I had the chicken fajita quesadilla, and it was very flavorful and huge! I took 2⁄3 of it home for later! I loved it.

Maravilloso! I had a fantastic lunch with my peers. We were captivated by their sign that displayed a discount for students. When we walked in we were graciously greeted and had a very humble waitress attend us. Our food was fulfilling to all of my senses and I could not fathom over how affordable the platters are. I ordered the mixed fajitas at a price of 7.99 and I can say they have been the cheapest fajitas I have ever purchased. I definitely recommend stopping by and feeling a small glimpse of a Mexican town ambiance.

The service was awesome because the server was so sweet and the food came quickly. The portions were so large that I will have enough for dinner. The food was so good and the prices were almost too good to be true. The interior décor was amazing and added to the beautiful setting with different options for seating. I just wish that there was an outside seating option as well. The music was also very nice.

Everything in Pelancho’s is a beautiful work of art. The chairs, tables, walls and even the ceilings– everything is painted with gorgeous images of flora and fauna. The staff is very friendly and well trained. The food is scrumptious and fairly inexpensive. And, to top everything off, if you are a student, you can get a 15% discount!

If you want something great, try the Pelanchos dip… I could eat just that and be happy. Everyone there is friendly and seem to enjoy their job. Out of all the Mexican restaurants in the area, I would say this is the best… just because of that dip.

In Middlesboro working and stopped in to have dinner. Service was quick and very friendly. The décor is classic Tex-Mex and a number of TV’s are scattered around for viewing while you eat. This place also offers free WIFI, which is great when your catching up on news and email. I ordered the chicken fajitas. Received a large portion. They were well prepared and tasty. This area is dry so no crevasse but a cola washed it down just fine. Good meal for under $ 15. I will go back. Only negative is the tables are sticky. They need to find a different cleaner.

Ok. Chicken was water logged making everything wet on the plate. No margaritas. Dry county. Would not go out of my way to eat there unless that was my only option.

We were expecting, on Easter Sunday night, to find nothing but fast food places open. We were pleasantly surprised to find this place open and even more pleasantly surprised by the food. The chicken burrito and enchiladas were very good with plenty of shredded white meat and the house salad, $ 2, was a real deal.

It’s really good. I had Planchos special. The chicken in the dish was moist and delishious. I tasted what my husband ordered and his was better than mine. But mine was still really good. Arroz con pollos is what my husband had. We are visiting from Michigan. We wish we would have gone here our first night. Since this is a small town, Pelanchos Mexican grill is a pleasant surprise. Great prices. Fast service.
