Lou Lou

I recently received a gift item from Lou Lou by mail which I wanted to exchange but I don’t live near any Lou Lou boutiques. After I explained the situation, Lou Lou flexed its usual return/​exchange policy and I was able to get the items I preferred with minimal difficulty and maximum speed. I very much appreciate Lou Lou’s responsiveness to my situation and am very pleased with the replacement items.

I rarely review places other than restaurants– only when they deserve either good or bad attention.
On a recent trip to Middleburg my fiancé and I visited Lou Lou’s three times because I thought their items were so adorable and reasonably priced for a boutique store.
The shopkeepers/​owners are friendly and it really is such as pleasant place to shop!
At the end of the weekend I walked out with a dress, belt, and purse and loved the experience.
Definitely a «must visit.» Open a store in the Raleigh/​Durham area! :)

There is a clothing shop and then across the street is a boutique by the same name that has jewelry, purses, scarves, and other cute accessories. My girlfriend and I did some Christmas shopping in Middleburg today and just loved this place, It has a lot of wonderful, unique jewelry and gift items. The sales ladies were friendly but not pushy and didn’t seem to mind that we spent forever just wandering around. And they wrapped our purchases so beautifully, I will be back! Charming!

I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!
I drove out of my way to support small businesses, next time I want to put $ 400+ in Lucchese boots I will stay home and go on ZAPPOS because they at least they have:
1. BETTER PRICES
2. 365 DAY RETURN POLICY (Which is is better than your so called ‘policy’ enforced by a snappy manager)
3. Polite Customer Service (See comment above on how I feel about the Manager)
4. They actually have a selection and SIZES (What kind of store only offers store credit and exchange only BUT has nothing to exchange, she literally brought me the boots I returned to try on… and some even looked bent up and worn)
5. I don’t have to feed the meters when the Manager leaves in the middle of a conflict for a coffee break. P. S. I hope that Latte was DELICIOUS
Lou Lou you just lost a long time customer, next time you shouldn’t be rude and have better policies.

I try to stop in at Lou Lou at least once every season. They get a great assortment of designer clothes, ranging in price from surprisingly affordable to the more expensive, and they seem to stock sizes and styles to fit just about everyone. I love their spring and summer dress collection, and they always have cute tops for nights out on the town. The sales rack is also worth a look — I find that especially if you are like me and nowhere near a size zero, they usually have a great selection of larger sizes from the previous season (and sometimes even the current season, since their stock seems to rotate pretty quickly), all generously marked down. There’s a small assortment of cute jewelry on-​hand and much more in the way of accessories just down the street, at Lou Lou Too.
Sales people have always been friendly and helpful, making it a nice and welcoming place to shop!
