LOVE that this place is open late on Sundays. everything closes down so early Sunday around here. they have a little of everything. even bubbly! I heart cava selection. they also carry oversized nips of Jack honey and American honey. its nice to not have to spend 30 $ for a big bottle. its the perfect size for travel.

Wide selection of brews and quality service. No clue why someone would give this place anything but 5 stars.

Disregard the previous review, Seven Star Liquors, the once tiny, cramped old liquor store on the corner moved three spots over in April 2009 in order to expand. Did they ever! The gleaming, modern store is now four times bigger, with the cooler alone having more square footage than the entire previous store! The new beer cooler has something like 20 doors, most of which are devoted to four, six and 12-packs, a few devoted to chilled wines, and the first few for milk/juice/water. The center cooler door leads customers into the enormous, diamond plated cooler where they will find 30 packs and beer balls in the middle-left, and nothing but cases(24 and 20) to the right. Seven Star’s biggest reason for moving was to accommodate and sell more beer. That said, their beer selection is unsurpassed in the area. Microbrews, seasonals, imports, beers people can never find, Seven Star is your best bet. They sell many of my favorites that no one else around sells, such as Carlsberg/Elephant, Schlitz, Hurricane H2, and Sol. As far as wine goes, the prices are reasonable, not the lowest but always many different wines on sale at any given time. Basically their philosophy on wine is, if we can get it on sale, we will sell it on sale. The fine wines here are limited and not at all osbcure, but let’s face it, the clientele in the area the vast majority of the time are looking for a low price point and quantity over quality. As for liquor, seven star has all the usual liquors at medium prices, again always with many on sale, plus a lot of odds and ends you may not find at most liquor stores. In addition to the expansion of their store, they also now sell a lot of grocery items(milk, soda, snacks, toilet paper, detergent etc.). Did I mention the 42″ flat screen TV? If there is a game on, you can be sure they’ll be watching it. Another major draw for customers is the singles cooler in the front of the store, You will NEVER find beer anywhere else as cold, and the cooler gives the options of 12, 16, and 24 oz. beers, mixed 12 oz. singles of all sorts, and«oil cans»(Fosters, Molson XXX, Heineken etc.) in the bottom. Recently Seven Star added a large humidor next to their counter, so if you are the mood for a cigar(Macanudos, Montecristos, Cohiba, Romeo y Julieta, tons more) they are there at your disposal. Also worthwhile to note if you smoke cigarettes they offer lower prices than almost any place around, whether you smoke packs or just roll your own. The management are extremely friendly, easygoing warm people, always joking and smiling and always fair. Hands down the best liquor store I have been to.

Mostly liquor(meaning, crappy beer selection). I dropped in with the intention of getting some Harpoon(for the love of all things good and wonderful, start shipping to Washington, Harpoon!). No such luck. I settled for a Sea Dog brew from Maine. It’s pretty good, so I’m slightly less bummed about the lack of Harpoon.
