Crabs were great price for the size but the seasoning was too light. And the crabs tasted a little undercooked. They also seem understaffed. I would probably order again and ask for extra seasoning.

Captain Jim’s is the best place to get steamed crabs in the area HANDS DOWN! Consistently fresh and meaty crabs every time we order. The service is fast and everyone is always friendly! $ 75 a dozen for XL crabs is always a great deal.

Great crabs and wonderful people! This is my new favorite place to get crabs. Crabs were full and seasoned just right. Oh and the corn was sooo good. So glad they are close to home.

A friend of mine brought over half a dozen large males from Capt. Jim’s and I swear they were THE BEST crabs I’ve ever eaten, bar none! They go out every morning and catch the crabs you’ll be eating that night, so these are definitely Chesapeake blue crabs, and that makes all the difference in the world. I will definitely be paying them a visit before the summer’s out!

One of my faves… Captain Jim crabs in the morning and his wife steams them in the afternoon– can’t beat it. Plenty of parking. Carry out and enjoy!

So this place deserves a shout out. The crabs are smokin here. Hands down. Not only are the crabs good, they’re cheap… I suspect it’s because this place is really like a room in someone’s basement (in the basement of the Long Beach Restaurant). This isn’t a restaurant, there are no tables. This is a order your crabs/​shrimp and go type place. But it’s because it’s no frills that it can serve excellent crabs at a good price. If you’re in this area, check them out!
