Regency Forest Pet Memorial Park

It is never easy to lose your best friend and companion. I prepared for the moment, and when I put my 18 year old cat down in October, I chose the place that felt right to pay my final respects. This truly helped with the grieving process of losing her by giving me that final closure. I had a private viewing where I watched as she (alone) was cremated in an exceptionally clean furnace. Beforehand there was even a little ‘wake’ where my boyfriend and I were brought to tears by how beautiful she looked. The entire place was beautiful and the staff was excellent. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing.

We said our final goodbye to our beloved cat, Artemis, today at Regency Forest. From the first phone call, everyone we dealt with was caring, warm, and considerate. Francesca and Brian both went out of their way to make this a peaceful closure for my husband and me. We were able to see him one last time in one of their beautiful viewing rooms and were given his ashes and a lovely sympathy card a few hours after he was cremated. I couldn’t have asked for a more fitting farewell for my most special little kitty man.

Unfortunately I had to make my way here this morning. My baby girl Daisy passed away. The landscape was perfect and was such a peaceful place. I know her & the rest of the babies here will be happy and are in a better place. I’m glad I took my dog here to get cremated. It was sad to let her go but the employees were nothing but kind. Very peaceful atmosphere.

This place is incredibly peaceful and well maintained. The people we’ve spoken to here are helpful and caring. They did an excellent job putting our dog to rest.

Should the sad day come when you have to say goodbye to your best friend, let Regency Forest Pet Services take care of the final arrangements. My sweet dog, who was like a family member to us, passed away and was cremated here. The lovely receptionist, Nancy, spoke to me with caring and patience, and assured me that my best friend would be treated with respect by a wonderful technician, Brian, in her final moments. She listened to my feelings, calmed my fears, and even helped our grieving process by making an extra effort to have it done quickly so we could have closure at home. Regency has an open-​door policy, meaning clients are welcome to be present at the facilities to watch their pet’s final moments. Though I didn’t choose to be there, I was comforted knowing the place must be reputable if they allow viewings. Our dog’s ashes arrived in a beautiful cedar box, with a sympathy card and beautiful wrapping. Regency made me feel like they cared about my pet as much as I did, which I will always be grateful for.

I, unfortunately, lost one of my dogs last year and my vet suggested Regency Forest for burial. The folks here are very helpful and courteous. They not only give you a plot for your pet but they also have a small area for a wake. There is also a crematory that was recently renovated. The entire park is beautiful and well maintained. For $ 55 a year they provide landscaping and will also plant anything you want near your pet’s plot. I was told the first time I visited that they do not only bury cats and dogs, they also do larger animals such as horses. It really is a great place and makes mourning the loss of a pet much easier. It’s a bit out there on LI but it’s worth the time and money.

This is a full service memorial park for animals. They do everything from cremations to burials. Their crematorium also serves as a funeral parlor with clean rooms to hold wakes for your animals if you wish. I actually did not know places like this existed. I was very happy with my experience at Regency.
