This place was absolute garbage. The chili cheese dogs were the worst crap I ever tasted. Even my wife’s food was crap. There goes $ 20 down the drain. We left and ate something else.

The staff is very friendly and exceptional. Our family loves the hamburgers and fries, plus the veggie bean burger(? not certain how it is listed on the menu) is great too. We just wish they were open during the winter.

I was really hoping to love this place – I love homemade sodas and great dogs. We first tried to stop by on a Tuesday for lunch – they were closed. Only open from Thursday-Sunday. We stopped back on Thursday for lunch. I was excited to try the homemade soda of the day, but, bizarrely, we were informed that they had run out of syrup to make the soda. Huh? The place had just been closed since the previous Sunday. They had five days to get new syrup. How are they possibly out of the one product you really need if you advertise yourself as a craft soda maker.

The chili on my chili dog tasted like marinara! There weren’t ant trash receptacles, inside or outside. The ginger coffee soda was decent, but they make it sound on the website like that’s there«thing.» Otherwise service was decent, prices average. Ambience… its a hot dog stand, and it meets those expectations.

The cheeseburgers are the best in town! Seriously, they recently started making them and they’re really good. The killer fries are an added bonus.

I’ve been trying hot dog stands all over the Duneland area and this is the one that has become my gold standard. They use quality ingredients and their dogs are well put together. The Detroiter, in particular, was fantastic with the right choice of dog(an all beef wouldn’t be right) and a very flavorful chili(hints of cinnamon?), not the typical straight-from-the-can Hormel. But maybe the highlight of it all was their house-made ginger soda. If this place wasn’t two hours away, I’d be a regular. Can’t wait to get back and try a brat and one of their other sodas!

Just recently went to Soda Dog after they’ve added burgers to their menu and I have to say that they have one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever had. And they get burger meat from a local farmer fresh and individually make the burgers each time one is ordered. Also their hotdogs are from a special blend made just for them. I don’t think alot of people realize what a great little place this is and how they go the extra mile to make their food special. You should also check out the fresh sodas that Christy the owner makes herself. My favorite is the coffee soda but I’m going to try the strawberry next time I go in. Soda Dog is a great fast food place that gives you more than fast food.

SodaDog added burgers… Better than 5 Guys Burgers! Same owners as Stop 50 Pizzeria. Both the hot dogs and burgers are worth the stop! I like it because my kids can run around.

This seasonal hot dog stand gets high marks in my book not only for the yummy dogs, but also for their commitment to reducing waste and using recycled packaging/paper products. Their Chicago dog makes Portillos’ taste like Hormel. The only trick to this place is coming upon it when it’s open. The hours are very limited, something like Wednesday through Sunday until 3 p.m. If they were open more, I’d have been there!

i really liked this place. the fries were awesome and the hot dogs were great. i’m a ketchup-only kinda gal so i can’t tell you how all the fancy dogs were but my bf put two of them down and a sausage(he thought they were great). jones soda… eh. did i mention the fries were really good? an added treat was the goings-on at the trailer park across the highway… gave us something to watch while we dined in the car.

I have been so excited about this place. The owners, who own Stop 50(which is awesome) have been working on this place for quite some time. It was touted as being hand crafted sodas and upscale dogs. By handcrafted sodas, they meant Jones and by upscale dogs they meant kraut and dijon on a dog and calling it german. I was so incredibly disappointed. I think they could have done so much more with this place, especially given the perfection he pulled off with Stop 50. I hope he really puts some more time and effort into this place.
