Went here wit a co-worker a month or so back. We only got wings, but the wings were excellent. It was the house sauce, I forget the name, but the wings themselves were more meaty than wings I’ve had in a while. Beer selection — Miller Lite, Coors Light and Blue Moon on tap. There was a 4th tap, but no handle. They have Stroh’s and a bunch of other cold American lagers in the cooler, some bottles some cans, and we ended up drinking all their Alpha King, which seemed to be the only actual craft beer in there. The décor is pretty cool, and it’s very clean overall. The smoking though. You can still smoke in here which was kind of awful, actually. The food looks really good though. Had to deduct a star for the smoking.

Very friendly dive with great food. One of the regulars gave us delicious pie and the drinks were cheap. I’ll be back the next time I’m over that way!

As far as dive bars go, this place is relatively friendly. The bar is completely stocked with all the standard liquors and even a few surprises(did you know Kenny Chesney has his own coconut rum??), but the beer selection is basically what you’d imagine and a Northwest Indiana establishment. The bar is large, and there is plenty of seating in the booths and on both sides of an additional bar that runs the length of the dining area. We ordered the pizza, which was decent. The regulars were nice and no one seemed to care that we were new to the place. Drink prices were cheap and the pour was healthy.

Dive bar. Tilt-a-whirl corner booth. high-boy tables with 55gal drums for legs. Pool tables, darts. Joe burger. 1/3lb. meatloaf with fried onion rings, swiss, and bbq sauce on a fresh bun. Home cut fries nice and greasy. Friendly bar staff and cheap drinks.
