This is a nice small hotel(inn) just north of Westville & Purdue North Central with a log cabin face front. My room was on back(brick) with a beautiful view of rolling green hills. Lots of chirping birds made you feel like you were in the woods. Friendly female owner walked me to my room and pointed out features. Due to well water, they provide two bottles of drinking water. Fridge & micro included. Pergo and tile flooring. No key-it’s a code entry. Very clean. Small room(walkway around bed that’s it), one dining room style chair. Big walk in shower with a rain head, nice hot water. No shampoo provided. Soap is nicer – fragrant and large dispenser.(More like staying at a B&B.) A/C worked great or windows open if cool. Chair outside door for sitting. Comfortable bed. Free wifi. My TV didn’t work though new. Sign said rooms start at $ 39, I was charged $ 55 with no explanation on price difference vs. sign(perhaps weekend vs weekday?) but still a decent low price place. First night I had a neighbor who had TV on all night and noisy kids, thru paper thin walls. Not good. Second night was a good sleep with quiet neighbors. I’d definitely stay here again – but be more aggressive to stopping loud neighbors after 10 pm.

Exactly what I was looking for, very happy with my room here! After spending 3 nights in a shady area of Sandusky Ohio on a trip to Cedar Point, I wanted a nice little mom and pop type place outside of any big city and this was just perfect. Very clean newly remodeled room, small but very nice with satellite tv and good wifi. Owner was very nice and I would highly recommend this place! Close to Michigan City only a few miles from all the big stores and restaurants!

Was looking for a hotel on something different them what’s in Michigan City found this place the owners are awesome. It’s about 1mile south of the main strip perfect location and peaceful. Stayed a week at the hotel it was perfect. Has Dish Network HDTV, refrigerator, microwave, ac and heater and windows if you want fresh air and the best fast wifi I was getting about 30mb a second on wifi, clean beds unlike other hotels I’ve been to. The rooms have been remodeled so new bathrooms, showers, everything was just right! highly recommended and good prices.

Don’t stay here if you’re looking for a generic hotel or lots of closet space. Do stay here if you like a comfortable bed, personable service, and lots of charm. I will definitely stay here again when we go back through Michigan City again. The place is a remodeled ten-room motor inn with lots of character. They have added lots of unconventional touches such as colored towels and nice style. It’s owned by a family on site and they went out of their way to make sure we were welcome and comfortable. I called ahead to let them know that our flight was delayed so we wouldn’t be arriving until 1 am. They made sure we had clear directions, set up our room for us, and left a nice note on the bed. There are two things to be aware of. The water smells and tastes like iron, but that is a Michigan City area thing so I didn’t dock any stars for it. Also, they don’t supply shampoo, conditioner, or body soap. I almost docked a star for the soap but I loved everything else so much I decided to give five stars anyway.
