The food was tasty and the restaurant was very clean. When I first ordered, I thought the price was a little steep, but the huge portions and the quality of food was worth the price.

This was our first time trying this place, and the main reason we did was because they deliver. Part of what I do is event planning for our company, and we often order in lunches for big and small groups. So when a few of us decided to order in instead of going out, I went looking for some place new to try and stumbled on this place. I love Greek food and have found very little of it out here so we thought it was a great option to try. The first time I called it just rang and rang, but I gave it a few minutes and tried again and it was answered promptly. The girl who took the order was pleasant. I was disappointed not to be able to order a simple beef gyro(the traditional one they have is a mix of beef/lamb, but they do not have just a lamb or beef option) but ordered the chicken instead.(All of us did actually). The food took about 45 – 50 min to arrive(she had said 35 – 45 so pretty close). The platter came with a side(I got fries) and I asked for no cheese(they did but a block of feta cheese on the side inside anyways). The tzatziki sauce was decent although a bit bland. The actual gyro(we all got«Supreme») was covered in raw onions and banana peppers. I had assumed bell peppers not banana or I would have asked for it without… just not a fan, but now I know. The meat was very dry, and I wished there was more tzatziki sauce that came with it! The diced cucumbers were delicious but they were so small and the gryo so awkward they kept falling off. I finally resorted to a fork and knife for assistance. I would not want to attempt these sandwiches during an actual«working lunch» even with the knife and fork but for a normal, non-business lunch it was fine. The fries were overly cooked… not great but not horrible… just VERY crunchy. For me the gyros were fine. Nothing stuck out to me, no flavor«popped» anywhere, and I’m pretty sure I could make exactly the same thing at home except better. I will say the actual pitas were fabulous, and I wished I had more of that for later. The other two who ordered with me said about the same… not amazing, not horrible, just.ok. The portions are generous(I’m a good eater and didn’t even finish the meat 100% and barely dented the super crispy fries, although I did polish off the pita and sauce), pricing seems about average(maybe a bit on the high side for the quality/taste) and service was fine. While I do not see myself utilizing the«Palace» for any business lunches, I might order another sandwich or try the shish kabob(although the dry meat makes me concerned about the kabobs). It was decent enough for me to try again but not quite up to suggesting it to others at this point. Hoping the next try does go better, since I love Greek food… but seeing«mozzarella sticks» and«jalapeño poppers» on a Greek menu does make me cringe…

This place used to be wonderful when Mario worked/owned it. I hadn’t been here in years until I brought Kim Sizemore in today. The cashier was rude, and the cooks acted disinterested and annoyed when I ordered something. They shoved the food at me when my order was up and tried to stare me down for some reason. I had the gyro and greek fries, which was delicious. I removed the six pounds of onion, but the olives were good too. My fries were a little too coated in oil, but good nonetheless. The tzatziki was delicious to dip the fries into. They now have the restaurant tied a cheap looking generic cell phone /cigarette shop. I can’t imagine anyone goes in there after enjoying their oily lunch served by grumps. After I got home, my house smelled like fartziki.

This is a barebones restaurant serving very average, if not subpar Greek cuisine. I am certainly not Greek, nor am I an expert on Greek food, but I have always been underwhelmed with what I order. The falafel is ok, but usually the meat is overcooked. The combo with chicken and beef is tasty, but again, overcooked. The staff is always pleasant, the tables clean, but keep in mind that they do get busy at lunchtime. I think I am due back here to see if I can’t get them to squeeze out another star. If you are looking to be wowed, steer the car elsewhere.

Love the gyros. However, when it is close to the end of the day you might wanna call to see if the still have food. They have ran out of gyro meat a few times on us.
