YouFit ruined Porky’s legacy. This was a gym where legends were built. Now? Filled to the brim with teenagers who are going to hurt themselves, Herbalife salesmen selling their poison to the weak-​willed individuals who know nothing about Shakespeare, and obnoxious personnel. I once witnessed a friend of one of the staff members harassing a woman who was working out. When she got mad and slapped the guy, the staff immediately began to verbally berate her.
This place is the worst place in west Kendall. Thank you YouFit for ruining what was once an amazing gym.

Ever hear you get what you pay for? While cheap fees=cheap gym. This place was ten times better as Porkeys! This place used to have an attitude of respect. Now bathrooms are always trashed, no toilet paper, no soap, flooded floors. Weights are never racked. good luck finding the Dumbbells you need. And, Dumbbells now stop at 90 lbs. this is not fair to those of us who wish to lift a little more. They need to change the name to «you can only get so fit». So why am I still here? One word convenience. I live close to here, and the few hardcore Porkeys friends that have remained. Maybe instead of harassing people about gym bags, which is normally those of us who respect the gym and clean up after ourselves, they should focus on fixing these problems. I have been coming here since 96… This place has the potential, it’s time for it to live up to it!!!
Ps– just fished a 1 and ½ hour workout and bathroom is still trashed! No excuses for that! Owners need to fix this or get out of the gym business. This is not a sanitary environment when there’s no soap to wash your hands !!

I agree with some of the other reviews, this place does smell funny and the machines definitely haven’t been cleaned in a while. The women’s bathroom also smells and everything is so old. The space is also smaller than most YouFit locations so the machines are so close to each other that you might hit someone as you’re using them.

I went to check out this place and it smells so stank that I don’t think those machines have been wiped down since they opened. The poor girl who gave me the tour didn’t do a good job of selling the place either, but it’s not her fault. The place is a hard sell. Please clean your machines, wash your carpets and just update the whole look.

I agree with the reviews above for sure! It is cheap and I am staying for the price. I signed up for the personal training and I was disappointed. I get that the location is new but I didn’t receive all the features and services that I was suppose to when you sign up for to have a personal trainer. First Red Flag! I went to cancel my P.T. and the guy had no idea what he was doing. I waited and waited and finally he told me I need to set up an appointment to cancel (mind you I called beforehand to ask him how do you cancel and he told me to come by the gym). Complete waste of time! Then the incompetent guy at front asked me why I decided to cancel. It’s a personal reason and they should train their front desk employees what not to ask. I come back and the trainer says mockingly that he heard I was upset about canceling aka the front desk guy. This conversation was so pointless. Remember I am a customer and not your child. Needless to say there is a serious lack of professionalism! Don’t sign up for the personal training unless you are ready to deal with DRAMA!

I’m going to list the positives and then afterwards the negative. OK so what I do like about this gym is certain machines that are not located in the you fit that I usually go to. Another thing I like is there is a private area for women to work out and I’m not insecure but it’s always nice to have that alone feeling instead of having guys staring at you while you’re trying to work out your glutes. Other than that I’m gonna have to say that I’m not very thrilled I have seen someone cleaning but I’m not saying that the person is not cleaning well enough I just think they really need to restore everything in that gym including the floors. Certain areas especially have this sent that reminds me just like my dogs food. The machines in the main floor are very cluttered and it’s sometimes hard to work out because another machine is so close to the other. The staff are nice and friendly. I just think corporate needs to get more involved with this location and restore it to be the best it could possibly be.
To add on there is a area that they do maintain classes but it’s unfortunate that if there is no class they don’t allow anyone in there and this you fit is pretty small the stretch area is very minimal and it’s kind of not fair that no can can enter there. They have equipment in there from a punching bag to ropes to work out your arms and it just be nice if especially I that I paid for the lime card which is 20 dollars a month would have access to that area.
I usually go to a youfit that is maybe a few miles away which is a bit further than this one but I rather go to the other one due to the fact that it’s very new and updated the bathrooms are always extremely clean it always smells extremely clean and everything is always in tiptop shape. To add on the machines are separated at the perfect space so everyone has their own space while working out.
Again nothing personal with the staff at this location or the people, I just think again corporate needs to show some love when it comes to restoration and organize this gym a bit and allow access at least to the people with the lime card membership to enter the area where they hold classes while there is no classes.

This is the old porky’s gym. I like it because everyone there is there to work out not socialize. They need to do some major upgrades on the machines tho. I’m sure that now that it’s under new management that will happen with time. The price is good, no contract.
