For starters, the shop only accepts cash – it’s 2016. I have only gotten my haircut there with«Alex the Barber 305» once and will never return. He is not there on time even though he has an online appointment system(and that’s if he doesn’t cancel on you). He exhibits a degrading and unprofessional attitude(i.e. name-calling), on top of being overpriced.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. Specifically by «Alex the barber». He has lost all sight of humility because he is the top producer of the shop. He is the sole barber that utilizes an online appointment system that is completely faulty. Every time I have made an appointment the wait is minimum 45 minutes because of poor time management and an appointment system that is ineffective. The time slots are in 15 minute increments which obviously isn’t sufficient time to do a haircut. To add insult to injury, my last THREE appointments have been cancelled 30 minutes to 2 hours before. His claim is that he doesn’t work that day and he’s told me several times. As customers, we aren’t obligated to remember a schedule of a barber considering it constantly changes, especially when the website has certain days blocked out and allows you to make an appointment. He has told me he receives notification of appointments made and therefor should cancel appointments out of his working hours immediately rather than waiting until the last minute claiming that two hour notice is sufficient. To take it a step further, after having cancelled an appointment on me three times, he proceeds to insult me after me calling him out for lack of professionalism. As an individual who works in the service industry, I have a certain expectation of treatment by others in a service industry. He is an above average barber but certainly isn’t the last in Miami. I would take your money elsewhere as I am doing myself. It’s his loss considering I always tipped above 50%. The shop isn’t nice either way.

My first time coming here real nice place to go. Is not fancy, but the barber lazaro very friendly and careful. He listen to what I wanted and took care of me. Also, children friendly. I will definitely come back.

I’ve been driving by the place for years and in spite of my disdain of the NY Yankees, I figured I’d give them a shot. Short and sweet; they took really good care of this aging gringo. The guys are all characters and it’s a great place for kids of all ages.

I have to say this is one of the coolest barber shops I’ve been to in SoFla. Simply put it’s due to the people who work there. Get ready for comedy, snaps and good old Latino-centric conversation from all the barbers. Best of all they all have skills, so you can rest assured that your follicles will be pleased. Great bang for your buck. Wait times are pretty reasonable. The locale could use an upgrade(as parking can get crazy and the shop itslef is a bit antique), but outside of that you’re getting your money’s worth and then some!

This local barber shop is hidden away in a small corner strip mall on Sunset Drive. Normally there are 3 – 4 barbers on duty and wait time is minimal. This is a neighborhood style barber shop, prices are low and talk is crass. Sure they will cut your hair but don’t expect a salon quality experience.
