Winn-Dixie

I don’t usually go to this Winn Dixie, but when I do I’m just like «ehh.» I did try to like it though!
It feels dirty and some of the employees are kind of rude. I contemplated on asking someone for help because they looked annoyed.
I hope to come back and update my review.

This is not usually my go to grocery store. However, I’ve been comparing prices recently & I save a lot by buying meat & chicken here to cook for dinner. I shop the sales and end up spending about $ 60 for dinner for 5 days. Not bad when I end up spending $ 200 at my regular place. My advice is to shop the sales. It’s definitely worth it!

I really tried to like this Winn-​Dixie, I really did! It’s a bit closer to my house than the Publix by Dadeland and it’s never as crowded, but I’ve given this place enough chances and it’s never lives up to my expectations. First of all I’ve actually noticed the prices here are actually more than Publix on a lot of items. If I’m going to be shopping in a smaller and dirtier store I would at least expect to be saving some money! Secondly, the selection here is terrible. Tons of stuff is out of stock on the shelves and they don’t carry a lot of the variety of items as Pulblix. I’ll probably only come here if I’m in a rush and need to be in and out as quickly as possible.

The steaks are sad for a store that claims to be the «beef people».
About once a year I’m tired enough to stop here (right on my way home from work).
And that one time is enough to remind me why I love my publix. The selection is a joke, the store is just plain gross and the prices aren’t cheaper.
I could understand a crappier place if the prices were better, but a half gallon of the same brand milk was more here than at publix.
Don’t even get me started on the people, it seems like whoever was rejected from the post office and DMV gets a job at this store.

— Customer Service Desk is not very customer servicy. (and you will have to stop by there EACH time you enter the store to have them correct the price of an item on your receipt.)
— Consistently a bad experience
I used to shop there for the mere fact that I could walk out of the store with a week’s worth of groceries for 3 people for $ 40. For $ 40, it was worth the aggravation of the above list. Now that they have raised prices and stopped sending coupons, that $ 40 has turned into $ 130. I vowed never to return. Then, I went to use the coin star machine and I made the mistake of browsing their flyer as I waited for the machine to finish. Long story short — Shopped there instead of Publix and… came home with the headache of the century. It is not worth the aggravation. In fact, steer clear of the entire shopping center.
