There is only one thing I love this park, really., It has a lot of shade, which is VERY hard to find around here.
Negatives:
parking lot is far from playground (not that I mind walking) thing is that playground is very secluded. I always make sure to go accompanied, as there is only one pathway and if alone and something where to happen, no one is really around to assist. Doesn’t give you a sense of security, at all.
Sand. I hate sand. Sticky, dark, dirty looking sand.
No restroom (you would have to walk over to main pavilion for that).
I recommend this park for sunny days, when you just NEED to get out of the house. Be sure to call a friend to come along.

I’ve been to this park twice and I like it enough to go back again. Their playground has nice trees around it that provide cool shade. It has one large pavilion with several benches right next to the playground. I’ve noticed their tennis court is well kept and never busy. The parking lot is a bit far from playground, far enough that you can’t see the playground from parking lot. I feel more comfortable going with someone else.

Good facility, the courts are well maintained even though it would be a great if they added lights for when the sun sets. Residents could still enjoy some game time even after dark.
I come here with AKG almost every day. Kendall has become my second home and I get more aquatinted to this side of town more and more everyday.
We love playing here because it’s close to home and this courts tend to be readily available. We improve our game everyday and she has a great back side, which is nice to enjoy while we play. I mean backhand, her backhand has been perfected.

This is another great facility for Hammocks residents and guests (only the tennis courts and racquetball courts are open to the public). Sadly, not exceptionally maintained as their other centers. The racquetball courts could use some paint touch up and tree trimmings around. On the other hand, tennis courts are nicely kept and are plentyful.
