I had the most wonderful evening here! The food was absolutely delicious and this quaint little hole-in-the-wall has a beautiful atmosphere. I loved the Mediterranean inspired menu, they have multiple dishes from every«North Med» country and they all looked amazing! Our server was extremely pleasant, patient, and helpful(a rarity nowadays). I had originally ordered the spinach gnocchi but the server unfortunately informed me that they did not have enough left to serve as an entrée so I went on to order something else. While we were munching down on our starter tapas she brought us out about five gnocchis garnished beautifully and presented to us as an additional appetizer and exclaimed, «It’s on the house. We are so sorry we ran out but this is all that was left, enjoy!»(because of the dish’s popularity that is all they had left at that time of night) I have never experienced such generosity and care at any restaurant as I did at Vin Brule that evening. I decided to give Vin Brule 5 stars instead of 4 for two reasons: — The intimate ambiance of this little restaurant exudes love and passion, qualities that are also apparent in the dishes. — And most importantly, I received the most wonderful and caring service that evening that I have ever received in my life. Our server actually seemed to care whether or not we enjoyed our meal, she had an excellent knowledge of their wine selection, and couldn’t be any more genuine and nice.

unassuming intimate neighborhood joint eclectic menu of «North Med» but predominately Italian Homemade Pasta and Spanish dishes since the spaghetti carbonara was recommended, went with that… it’s a deceptively simple dish. without the cream is the classic way of preparing it. only thing i would change is smaller pieces of bacon cazuela española wasn’t balanced and did have a bit too many mushrooms

I think that I have here found the perfect spaghetti alla carbonara(without cream thank you very much). I still like all the food here and have never been at all disappointed but this dish is just particularly noteworthy good. Sorry to say but I suggest that you bring your own wine, they will just charge you a small corkage fee.

Now this is a great little gem. I have gone several times, and every time I go the experience is even better than the last. Now I thought that it may only be me, but I have gone with both my family and several friends, and everyone raves and promises to return Vin Brule is a small restaurant on the East part of Coral Way, and may even be hard to find if you don’t look for it. The décor on is quite warm and welcoming, and the art work is just marvelous to observe. The service is always great, considering the have one waitress for the entire restaurant. I have only had one problem there, they brought out a dish that was not what I had ordered. However, the immediately fixed the problem and the dinner was spectacular as usual. This little restaurant doesn’t specialize in any specific type of cuisine, but instead boast a variety of different dishes from Italian to French and even a bit of Spanish; my personal favorite is the Paella. The wine list is just okay, but pretty cheap options. You can bring in a bottle of your own if you’re willing to pay a small corking fee. All in all I must say that Vin Brule is excellent. It’s a great place to go with family, a group of friends or even on a date. I recommend this place to anyone who likes small places with great food.
