Therapeutic Touch Massage Center

I’ve been going to Gina for 6 months now. I go every week for 30 mins and 1 time a month for 60 mins. Every week she does Gua Xa or cupping and a little massage and sometime Accupunture if she feels I need it. If I have a cold, I go to her right away and she does her Asian medicine to make me feel better.
I have lost weight with her and overall feel better in general.
Gina is amazing and she is wonderful and caring. Every time I go to her I feel like she cares for me. She asks how I’m feeling so she can best help me.

A good friend of mine recommended this place but sadly this place did not help at all.
Gina tried some moxibustion, gua sha and acupuncture for my elbow pain. While the heat from the moxibustion was temporarily comforting it didn’t provide much relief afterwards.
I would have left my review at 3 stars if the therapist did a good job but the treatment wasn’t effective, except that I seriously and honestly felt that she wasn’t very competent.
I told her that one of the needles really hurt, and she told me that it shouldn’t. Well, it sure did, and what she said didn’t help, physically or psychologically. And maybe that means that what ails me isn’t what you thought it is?
Moreover, she focused exclusively on my elbow, even though I told her how it hurt at other points along the meridian. Other therapists I had been to have felt along my upper and forearm, even the shoulder, and had relieved my pain by massaging along those points, instead of directly on my elbows. TCM views the body holistically, rather than just zooming in on the area where the symptoms manifest. I am therefore very surprised and disappointed that she so narrowly focused on my elbow. When I didn’t feel any better, she basically just put some ointment on, did more gua-​sha, was very vague about what the problem was («Is it the tendon?» «Hmm, maybe.» «Or could it be the muscle?» «That’s possible too.») and just ended the session saying that she hoped the pain would go away in a few weeks.

This place is amazing. I love Gina. I only went once but the one time I went was amazing. I was having problems in the back of my shoulder blades and she helped release majority of the pressure and helped with my low back pain and tightness throughout my body. I will be coming here more often as I am an athlete and my body requires a lot of work.

Gina is excellent! I suffer from low back and knee pain, and i was feeling very tired and lack of energy. She gave me a very therapeutic massage and used an herb that she lights up and holds close your skin producing deep healing heat into the muscles, feels great. She also has given me herbs to take and have been very good, reliving pain, inflammation and giving me back the energy i needed. She is professional, caring and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her.

I have been searching for a good acupuncturist for a few months and I was not satisfied until I found Gina. I was looking for an acupuncturist who would show their love for their work and that shows when I have a session with Gina. I found Gina by recommendation through a mutual friend and could not be happier. She has treated me for various ailments; but the one that was the most impressive was my blood pressure. After years of medications for HBP, a couple of sessions and a few herbs I have been medication free for over a year! I highly recommend Gina my miracle worker!

I choose this place because it was close to my house, that is it. So when I found a real healer like Gina, was a surprise.
Under the «oriental massage» tag was a mélange of techniques, some familiars (like deep tissue or acupuncture points), some not (like the beautiful antique suction cups). She also ordered me to take some chinese medicine for my «yan» that would help me with my sleeping disorder and energy. I fell better after the massage, but not more that any other good massage. She told me to call her at the end of the week to tell her who I was going.
The first day after the massage I asleep like a baby. I still sleep like a baby. I My swelling receded, also and I have more energy. I did not need a massage for a month after that experience. It was amazing!
Also, Gina is warm and Miamiam (no-​bullshit person), but with gentle manners.

THIS HIDDEN GEM NEEDS TO BE REVIEWED! I have been searching for an acupuncturist & have gone to a few but so far I haven’t found one like Gina. First of, she is very knowledgeable and seems to genuinely care about her clients. She is a master at what she does. For the price you get a full treatment that includes massage & other techniques as well. She just doesn’t insert needles for 30 minutes & your session is over. My first time & definitely will see her again.

I have been here several times and Gina is wonderful and very accomodating. She gives a great massage and is very pleasant and helpful if you have any particular concerns. She takes her time and does not rush you. Overall, it is a relaxing and enjoyable experience! (The hot wash cloths are a great touch)
