After visiting The Habit for a second time I would like to retract my previous review and say that this place may be new but it really feels like home! I had a charburger with cheese and it tasted so good! I loved that the lettuce is finely chopped and my onions were crispy! This was a delicious addition, so I will definitely be back! Also try the sweet potato fries, they are so worth it!

When I came here for the first time with my boyfriend, I ordered the Santa Barbara charburger and the tempura green beans. The food was delicious! I especially loved the tempura green beans. These are addicting, and so so crispy. I’ve tried a few other burgers from this place, and I have to say the Santa Barbara charburger is my favorite. Their other burgers are okay, but still good. The lady at the counter was nice and friendly. As it was our first time here, we weren’t sure what to order. She made some suggestions and waited patiently for us to decide. We also did not have to wait long for our food to be served.

I am very pleased with finding another great Burger Joint that is The Habit. The food came quickly but they somehow managed to accommodate quality into the burger. The Santa Barbara Burger I had(with avocado, mayo, grilled onions) was fantastic. I recommend first timers to try this burger out, as it is quite a unique experience. There is a Pepper bar where you can add Banana Peppers and Jalepeños. The Fries come in a great, big portion, but if you don’t use ketchup, the salt can get to you after a few fries. My grandmother had the chinkburger, which was a normal burger with lettuce substituting the bread buns. The Lettuce was crunchy but really thick compared to the meat. The portions however are reasonably big. I will definitely return whenever I need a local, good quality burger.

This is Just a very average burger! There is no choice of how you’d like your burger cooked. American cheese is your only option, for which you must pay extra. The burgers are simply unseasoned ground beef served with shredded lettuce and they are slathered with mayo. A «good» burget joint should serve a good beer as well. Only soda?! The sweet potatoe fries were good though. I would say this is a quarter step above McD’s. Right on par with Wendy’s, just costing a bit more. I would not make it a Habit to go here.

I had eaten here when it has first open and honestly I was not impress. I decided to give it another chance as I was trying to figure out what to eat for lunch in the area. I opted for a veggie burger w/French fries instead of the very popular charburger. To my surprise it was really good. The Dijon mustard in it really gave it a nice flavor. I highly recommend it. If you love tea as much as I do, they have a very nice citrus green tea(its unsweetened) I also liked that I could order online and pick it up at the store. My order wasn’t ready when I got there so I had to wait but it was to make sure that my fries were fresh and hot. The staff was very friendly too.

The Habit is a new burger place with a good variety of burgers + sandwiches. We tried the tri tip steak sandwich and Santa Barbara burger. The tri tip was flavorful + cooked perfectly, and bread was extremely soft. The SB burger was good but there was probably too much mayo on mine, which didn’t play all too well with the avocado. Fries were fresh + crisp. I’d come back, but I didn’t leave immediately thinking of my next visit like the usual fat boy thoughts I have when leaving a great spot. The Habit is a good place if you want to try something outside of the usual fast food offerings.

So for fast food this is a great option. I’m impressed by the quality of food found in this shopping center. We had the steak tri tip sandwich. First of all it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I ordered it in a French Bun which complimented the steak and grilled onions. This could almost be a Philly cheese if you add cheese. We also had the Santa Barbara burger. The sourdough bread was great. The mayonnaise was slathered on thick so maybe you can ask them to go light on it. The burger was good, not very flavorful, but it went well with the avocado and we also added bacon. The fries were also fresh. If I lived in the area I’d opt for this establishment over McDonald’s or other fast food options whenever I’d crave a burger.

The burgers were really good so was the strawberry milkshake. Pretty cheap for the quality and the service was excellent. The fries were a bit salty but my boyfriend loved it. We got our food fast and you could tell the burgers were really fresh !!

Normally when I’m in this area, I opt to stop by a chicken serving competitor that I can’t get enough of. However, I was in the mood for a good burger and decided to try out The Habitat based off of some great reviews from some fellow Unilocalers. Based on the food alone I would give this place three stars, however the staff is super friendly and efficient so I added an extra star. The atmosphere of the place is nice, pretty much your standard burger restaurant. When ordering, the line moved quickly and I only had to wait about 5 – 10 minutes for my take out order. My guy and I ordered the regular charburger with cheese(I ordered mine with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun) and we each got a mocha shake. The burgers were good, not the best burger I’ve had but definitely good. The shakes were meh, I probably wouldn’t order them again. I did see that they have tempura green beans and I would like to try those on my next visit for sure!

Normally I would give this place three stars for the food but because the staff were all very friendly and really did what the can to make every customer happy and enjoy their visit to Habit Burger, I figured it was worth the extra star. I ordered the Char-burger with cheese and bacon, side of fries and drink. For what it is worth Consumer Reports said it was one of the top fast food chains… Yes… Consumer Reports who also gives you reviews on washers, dryers and paint Burger was decent but nothing to write home about and fries were fries… no special seasoning or anything. But the place was shinny and new and employees nice so the extra star was awarded. While I would not go out of my way to eat at a Habit Burger in the future, I would not avoid one either.

I’ve been here a few times. Basically the best«chain» burger you can get in Miami before you step out of fast food and enter the realm of fast casual. I basically think this is comparable in flavor to In n Out from out west, except way, way pricier. Basically, think of The Habit as Strictly Better Five Guys™, with slightly fewer options for toppings but way more flavor in the meat, bun, and much better sides. And no hot dogs, but different items on the menu. Their onion rings are really good. Tempura green beans are also great. Their fries are pretty standard — thin cut fare, very crispy. Their malts and shakes are to die for. If we eat in the area, we might come here just to get a shake or malt to go. The skinny dude who takes your orders often talks too much. Leave me alone, dude. (Just kidding.) (Maybe.)

The Habit is officially out new favorite burger spot! For our usual post workout meal outing we decided to give The Habit a try and we are so happy we did! The cashier was very nice and new the menu very well! Both of us got the Santa Barbara style burger(double patty, american cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, pickles, smashed avocado and mayo) and we substituted the bread for lettuce which is the best choice! My boyfriend also got the Teriyaki Char(single patty, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and pineapple, mayo and teriyaki sauce) also substituting the bread for lettuce and it was incredible too! Also, we shared some sweet potato fries which were incredible! We are definitely coming back! We’re going to make a habit to come to The Habit!(Too corny?)

My mushroom burger was excellent. It tasted fresh and full of flavor. My husband had a double burger. He said it was good too. Their fries are nothing special. They have a condiments station where you can get peppers! My husband was so excited to see it and he really enjoyed it. Just for that, we will go back! Lol If you want a good burger, you may consider this place instead of those big name chain places!

I had ½ a mushroom char and ½ Santa fe. Also ordered French fries and onion rings(get the ranch to dip). The fries and onion rings had too much salt(visible), they were happy to exchange for me. The burgers were really good, tasted fresh. Took a burger to go, and with sodas and all, check was $ 25(3 burgers, 2 sodas, fries and onion rings). The restaurant is clean, service is good. Will return. Note: the friend who introduced me mentioned that her fries have been salty the few times she has been, so apparently, it is within their recipe to add extra salt. Do request no salt and add to taste, is my recommendation.

Talk about a burger!!! Wow! I’m originally from Miami but have lived in California and Texas and have had the chance to eat at In and Out. This place is a very close second and that is saying a whole lot of good! The service is amazing and let’s hope it stays that way. They make you your burger right then and there when you order it along with the fries, onion rings. They do not slack on the ingredients or meat serving. The grilled onions are a perfect touch. Space is very clean and organized. In a great location as well

Bruhhhh this place is fire! Few friends told me about it and told me it was all that and a bag a chips. So i decided to give it a go and all I am left with is wow. I ordered the Santa Barbara Style burger which is a double char with cheese & avocado on a grilled sourdough I of course had to add bacon and mushrooms to this bad boy and BOOM this thing fell from the heavens! Rich in flavor and super tasty. Meat was not over cooked or under cooked just the right amount of pink. All the veggies fresh and super high in quality. I honestly really Loved everything about this burger. I also ordered the sweet potato fries and the onion rings. I liked the onion rings more. Make sure to ask for their homemade ranch that thing is CRACK! It went perfect with the onion rings. Service was fast. People constantly coming around asking if everything was fine. Very enjoyable and with plenty space. Overall this place was awesome in every aspect. Will be back!

I went to The Habit Burger Grill on a Friday during lunch time with my co-workers. Service was great and our food came very quickly. Very important during lunch time! I ordered the BBQ Bacon CharBurger and it was very good. I must admit I like Five Guys, BurgerFi and Shake Shack better. I also ordered the onion rings and ohh boy! those were soooo good. They recommended their home made ranch dressing for the onion rings and I was a little hesitant at first but yesss it was a great combination. Overall it was a nice experience and it’s a nice to have a burger place in the area. Next time I want to try the shakes.

The Habit finally opened on west Flagler! Spacious and lightly colored inside. Lots of space to sit and eat. Booths, tables and high tops abound. Self-service drinks and condiments are readily available. They have jalapenos y’all! Load em up! The veggie burger itself was pretty run of the mill. Certainly nothing fancy about it. On that alone I would have given Habit 3 Stars. What got the extra star from me were the fresh and tasty veggies they dress the burger with. Really nice lettuce and cucumbers. The tomato was juicy and sweet. I added swiss and avocado to the mix and it made for a great burger. The fries were pretty decent. Not the best(Hello BurgerFI!) but they were hot and salty and crisp. So what’s not to like. I will be back to eat again. if they can rethink the actual veggie pattie they could earn that extra star!
