Up late? Need milk? Want some ice cream at 3 am? The Farm Store has it. From paper towels to fruit. This mini mart is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year. There used to be alot more of them but this one remains. Farm Store is there for emergency or just because you forgot something when you did your groceries. They used to have an ice cream called Dark Horse that was awesome. Why did they stop making it? I do not know but I wish I could have some.

Even though I don’t live in the «souwesera» anymore (southwest area for those that can pronounce English) I still hit up this store sometimes. My family is still living in the same barrio and when visiting, I usually swing by and pick something up.
Yes, your knowledge of Spanish will be tested but if you’re shopping here at this particular location chances are you «espeke» enough to order. I’m always buying 2-liter sodas for parties here and while more expensive than Publix it’s worth it since it’s so convenient. I’d describe Farm Stores as a drive-thru 7 – 11, but instead of Apu behind the counter it’s someone name Milagros or Consuelo taking your order.
