This place is great ! We felt like everyone was really nice, went the extra step to make sure we got everything we needed and with a smile ! I’m just getting my feet wet with tennis but my bf agreed that Frank was very knowledgeable, helpful and made us feel like why go anywhere else when they have good inventory and amazing staff!

Great shop! Helpful and efficient staff greeted me and regripped my tennis racquet in about 10 minutes for $ 10. I couldn’t help being enticed by their clothing selection and bought some tennis shorts too. Top quality brands (Stella McCartney for Adidas, yes!) at prices competitive to online retailers. I was told their clothes and shoes are always marked down at least 20%. Will definitely return.

The go to place to buy tennis clothes, shoes, get strings strung, etc. Always park in the back.

This place is great! Quick service, and friendly staff. I am both a player as well as a coach and the supplies they have are up to par with any other tennis store out there. The prices are very reasonable as well and relatively average to what you see on websites and other stores.
This establishment has 2 stringing machines as well that are used for both racquet ball as well as tennis. The staff is dedicated at their work and the wait time for a racquet to be strung is usually no more than a few hours. The staff also reapplies new grips as well for a low fee.
Finally this place has a great selection of shoes and clothing. Always on top with the latest styles and selections for both men’s and women’s.
I would definitely recommend anyone to check this place out! The place is extremely convenient being directly on US1… you can’t miss it!

Came in today needing to get my racquet strung and told them I needed it pronto for an afternoon game. Even though the all the machines were at it busy stringing racquets with plenty more to go, they still let me jump the queue. The guy, without even second guessing, told me to wait 20 minutes and I would be good to go.
THAT IS SERVICE!
Where else in Miami do you have people take care of you like that? Probably just restaurants and clubs… after you fork over your wallet. No additional charges for the quick turnaround, either. Also they string your racquet really well compared to some shops in in South FL.
All the mens clothes they have in stock are basically either 20% or 40% off in all sizes and brands. I don’t know if the same is for the women’s section, but for guys they are fully loaded.

Came to tennis plaza on a Saturday afternoon and was a little nervous since I’m a novice in the tennis world. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and helped by Rodrigo. I explained that I was a beginner and he went through some of the rackets that would work best for me and why. I love my new racket!
Once in the store I noticed they had alot of great dri-​fit clothes and hats all at a discount. Wow this is my lucky day. I bought a really cute tennis skirt and a Nike hat. Now I can’t wait to get out there and hit some balls!

Mostly tennis but also a selection of raquetball equipment. Great selection of shoes, clothes, raquets, etc. This is where I go to get my raquetball raquet strung. It usually takes an hour so I find something to do in South Miami while waiting.

This place is among three of the top heavy weights in the south florida area when it comes to tennis shops. It just so happens to be the giant among the trio, taking on huge accounts and even setting up a shop tent when the sony ericsson open comes around in spring to crandon park. That i’m sure isn’t cheap or easy to land. I suppose the feel for small shop advice is lacking a bit, but this isn’t to say they aren’t helpful, they are extremely helpful, but sometimes this place gets really busy and you just have to wait a retail minute for some help. But in place of some extra service, they have ridiculously good prices. Super competitive for the area, and probably the best in south florida. Which means they’re the best in florida. Which means they’re one of the best in the country, considering south florida is no joke when it comes to tennis, globally.
So yeah, i’d recommend it.

Doh! That’s all I can say because I can’t believe I missed out on getting the FTR. I’ve been coming here for over a year with the fiancée, and every time we leave I always think how I need to write the review. We were most recently here at the end of October. Oh well, you snooze, you lose.
I don’t personally play Tennis or Racquetball, but my other half couldn’t live life without his racquetball. The guys at the store are extremely knowledgeable and all play the sports themselves, which is helpful when seeking out experienced advice/​recommendations. Everyone is super friendly and nice as well, and service is NEVER lacking here. Knowing some of them from the racquetball circuit, its nice to see familiar faces whenever we make a stop in.
Here you can get racquets restrung and re-​gripped, buy new sneakers, get new gear for the courts, such as clothes, gloves, hats, socks, wristbands, and sunglasses, and of course, buy new racquets. So for all of you Tennis and Racquetball aficionados, this is the place to go for all of your necessities.
