Ok so after giving this place a few more tries… The chicken tacos are the best either soft or hard and the chips a must with the green salsa… Don’t forget $ 1.00 taco Wednesday’s…

I wish I could’ve seen the reviews before eating there but my signal at Dolphin mall is always bad. This place has 711 /​Taco Bell quality at chipotle prices. Checked it out because the wait at Cheesecake Factory was too long and figured how can Mexican be bad. Had a tasteless beef burrito for $ 7 and a quesadilla for my son. The credit card machine was broken, no high chairs for kids, and no restroom for customers.

The worst! My husband was already feeling sick after a couple of bites! How can you mess up on a quesadilla! DO NOT GO THERE! Bad awful food!

How is this place still open? Horrible. I passed by for a quick bite since I was in a rush and I ordered two tacos, one beef and one steak and they were both the worse tacos I’ve ever had. Good size but quality sucked. Tasteless and she’ll seemed to be a bit stale. They need to switch this place to a lime or chipotle. How hard isit to make good tacos ???(Americanized) beware stay away. I rather eat Taco Bell anyway lol

DO NOT COME HERE unless you are already visiting Dolphin mall. Taco Vida is located in the main entrance of dolphin mall by Cheese cake factory and Texas de Brazil. Not much expectation here just an option inside a mall for anyone who has a craving for Tex-​Mex. Which by the way don’t understand these people getting all upset about the quality of food. It’s really not that bad I mean it’s really hard to screw up on basic Tex-​Mex really. The staff is all Chinese by the way I think they’re Mexican Chinese from Mexicali.

Pretty average. Quick service, good location and fair prices. I was in the mood for a taco while shopping and it was fine. I had the chicken taco special and all the food and ingredients tasted fresh if unremarkable. Salsa was ok but there was none of the green another reviewer said was the bomb. I would go again but only if at the mall and in search of a taco or Mexican «themed» fast food. It’s safe to say this place stays in business since they have a captive audience… It’s not a destination itself.

Negative one star!!! I had to return my food after spitting out the one bite I took of the stale, hard shell chicken taco. Walked right out; could not bare a replacement or a refund.

Always come here for Cuban coffee, really good and fast Service. Food is good and staff is friendly. Not sure why people say they are rude. They are super nice

This is what Mexican food has become? This place is by far the worst Mexican eatery I have ever gone to. The food had no flavor. My 3 year old cousin makes better tasting quesadillas out of play doh than this crap. Extremely over priced for such quality food. The nachos were awful too. I’ve never known anyone to mess up nachos. How do you take stale chips, sprinkle a little chicken and some shredded cheese, microwave it for 10 seconds and call that nachos? FOH.
Bad, awful, I would never recommend this to anyone. Food doesn’t have any outstanding flavors, messy, awful experience. And to cap it off… each refill is .50 cents. God forbid I just paid for a soda that’s 99.9% ice and now you feel the need to charge me for the refill. They should make the refills free so that at least we have something to wash out the taste of stale tortilla and microwaveable chicken strips.
I will not recommend this place to any one. If I had enemies I wouldn’t even let them go there. That’s how bad it is.

Worst salad I had in my life… Seriously how do you mess up a salad? (Tricked and not treated)

This is not a good taco place I mean really I’d prefer Taco Bell more than this place ok first off tacos are terrible they taste terrible and they look terrible my tacos were very raw and did not taste good this place needs to have a better cooking staff

Bad… just bad. Old stew meat sold as steak. Upcharge of .50 for soggy lettuce. Counter help less than happy.

What was I thinking???
I am a huge lover of Mexican food and this place by no means is anywhere remotely close enough to being called Mexican. Taco Bell has nothing to worry about. Hehehe.
I thought «Hmmmmm, let’s give this place a try». My girl says, «Are you sure you want to eat here?» Now what on Earth would possess me to eat here? I was blinded by hunger!
I had the chicken tacos. Chicken was incredibly salty. Tasted like the chicken was first boiled, chopped up then layered with massive amounts of salt. No other condiments, herbs and spices were used. I should have just taken my $ 8.00 and flushed them down the toilet… Very tragic to say the least.
Stay away! This is a tourist trap! You’ve been warned.

When you order steak nachos from a taco restaurant you expect at least your meat to look like steak. I give them one star because this isn’t the first time I’ve ordered here and been disappointed. Don’t let the pictures fool you, the quality is very low
Not worth the after taste

Truly an intestinal nightmare. Should be called taco muerte because that’s what the food here tastes like. Let me tell you something, I’m not a picky eater and can eat just about anything. For me to say something was «off» about the food is because it really was disgusting. As I was eating I just remember looking around and seeing if the few people that were there were enjoying their meals but then I realized there was only 2 other people there. And then I knew I made a mistake. I knew I should have Unilocaled before walking in here but I was starving while running an errand at dolphin mall during my lunch break.

Oh boy, why didnt i look at Unilocal before coming, this is worst than taco bell. The steak on the nachos was hard, dry, and tasted like bad beef jerky. Next time i’m going to check Unilocal before trying a new rest.

I must have went on a good night. Place is not that bad and the service is no better or worst than any other quick mall eatery. Would I prefer taco bell, yes! Is this place horrible, no. Worth a stop for a quick bite that is low cost. I had the fish wrap. Not bad at all.

I wish I could give this place less than 1. Over priced, RUDE and about the same quality as Taco Bell. The employee would give my friend of water (we both ordered $ 15 worth of food — but when the lady behind us asked for water in Spanish she gave her water). I ordered a side of chips with my taco salad and got 7. Yes 7 chips for 1.75. The employee was nasty, rolled her eyes and was texting on her phone. Please do not give this place business I only wish I read the Unilocal reviews before going.

Over priced my chicken ranch wrap tasted biter and soggy I complained to cashier and she rolled her eyes at me saying «what do u want me to do I’m not the cook» I wanted to slam it in her face

Awful. Just plain awful. So damn awful I will keep this review short so I don’t have to relive this experience. I ordered a Hawaiian Burger with fries and a coke. What the hell was I thinking? The «angus beef» patty is one of those Bubba Burger beef patties, not a real handmade patty. Completely flavorless. Then, the pineapple «salsa» is just some pico de gallo with some chopped canned pineapple mixed in, no flavor @ all. The ham on the burger was cold. The fries were definitely from a bag and fried in tortilla grease. I took 2 bites and threw the rest in the trash, where it belongs.
I give this place 6 months. So sad.
